Xbox One vs PS/4
Have you seen a 4k tv in person? Saw a 65" 4k LG sitting next to a 65" 1080p samsung at sams club 3 weeks ago. The LG was crystal clear from any distance. Blowing the samsung picture quality away. It was utterly amazing. There isn't much out there that puts out in that quality, but it's extremely noticeable.
Many people will think that a LED tv is much better than a Plasma when putting them next to each other on a showroom floor, simply because of the brightness of one, when a properly calibrated quality Plasma tv will outclass any LED in terms of picture quality. Plasmas have absolutely superior black levels, tones, and a much smoother refresh rate.
If you can somehow distinguish the individual pixels on the 1080p set, I congratulate you on being the small percentage of people with >20/20 vision.
Yes, I've seen many in person. There are many factors contributing to what constitutes a "good picture". Were the two TVs playing comparable in all specifications? How were the video settings on the TV setup? Where both TVs pushing 4k and 1080P resolutions from the source disk? What means of backlighting were the TVs using? So on and so forth. Yes your talking about the color of the picture, not even the same thing.
I assume you still have a tube tv since all these new ones are gimmicks. HD what's that?

I'd be willing to wager I've spent more on TVs and home theater equipment than you have since Flat Panel TVs have come out. I've owned multiples TVs from numerous manufacturers, and numerous variations of Plasma/LED-LCD/LED makes. I'm speaking from personal experience and after having spent my money on numerous products I stand behind my statement that humans eyes have a finite resolution, and perception in resolution is correlated by screen size and distance to the TV. If you're sitting right in front of a massive TV, yes you'll notice a distance. If you are extremely close to a massive computer monitor, yes you'll see a distance. But for most people, this is not the case, and is simply a psychological matter in which people perceive more quality in something that is more expensive.
Or perhaps I'm not going to waste my money on a total buzzword correlated marketing push. I stick to my Pani VT50 and VT60 until an actual advance in technology comes around.
Looks like Forza is getting some updates: http://m.ign.com/articles/2013/12/12...rs-drag-racing
