Definitely going next time I see one
There are a couple here in SA. If Zoe's still in the tournament next weekend, you can try them then. They're pretty good.

We used to frequent the one at the Rim of course.

No job was ever given though.

Went to Paesanos Christmas night. I wasn't feeling 100% yet but it's become a tradition the last 3 years. Got a couple of bottles of wine. Could have made a reasonable car payment with the bill.

I frickin' love that place. We don't go often because of the bill you mentioned, but that's some of the best food in town. The parking lot of the one by the quarry is usually full of six-figure cars too. Lots of pretty Jags, a couple Aston Martins, etc.

I waited all year for the veal parm.

When my wife and undated in high school they had a Paesanos in Corpus Christi. We would go there on special occasions like Homecoming and stuff. I would always get the veal parm. Loved it. Like eating the most delicious baby cow you'd ever had. It was always a very special place for us. Closed many years ago.

So three years ago we decided screw going to my in laws let's go to SA. Called around and found out they open on Christmas. It's the one time a year the older kids drink with us at dinner. Makes it special.

Well they were out of veal parm. So I got the special lamb chops. Don't get the lamb chops. They don't know what they're doing.

But as usual the Shrimp Paesano appetizer was like having sex before your meal.

I've had a few. But not as many as I used to.

In honor of Nathan, I think tomorrow night (tonight actually) I'm gonna fix PECAN pancakes, fresh homemade sausage patties and some Conecuh bacon I picked up when I can by there recently, with scrambled eggs. And maybe some grits, lol.
