I quit smoking 2.5 years ago. Instead of sticking cancer sticks ion my face, I stuck doughnuts and sweets. My wife likes to bake things and I like to eat them. But enough is enough. I quit smoking and that was an 18 year habit. I can quit eating so much too. My portions of late have just been out of control, and I know it.

Same here too, not on the smoking part but on the portions part. I'm getting huge and it's really starting to bother me, I have never this heavy and I need to lose about 70lbs to be where I wana be.

Congrats on the quit smoking thing Gary!!!!! My father was a very heavy smoker for 40+ years and one day woke up, threw them away and has not picked one since. Been just over two years.

Yeah I did the 8mps upgrade awhile back and the other thing that helped was a new cable modem. The one I had was very old ~2000ish and was very slow. I upgraded to a new Motorola unit and it is much faster.

Not only that, but Texas has awesome food. I lived in Dallas for 3 years and I still crave Texas BBQ beef ribs and homemade bread. Food is definitely my weak point too. Speaking of which, just polished off a piece of chocolate cake that my wife brought home from her aunt's.

Time to strap the Shox on and head to the gym to try to work that off.

BTW....congrats on shaking the smoking. I've heard that is one of the hardest habits to break.

Thanks guys.

I bought 7 the day I quit smoking. It was a deal with the wife. I think I made one heck of a deal for sure.

I always pick Seattle on purpose. And it's always right. But that's just me.

Very interesting.....and I would have to agree, when I'm in a bad mood, I am quicker to second guess people/information than when I'm in a good mood.

I've tried them all (except for IE, but frankly, who cares) and have yet to come across a browser compelling enough to get me to dump Safari.

I'm a Mac guy. But I will say, in regard to what little experience I have with Windows (XP on my dad's Wal-Mart special) Firefox does have a decided advantage.

First of all for me as a recent Mac convert I've got to say that Safari is nice. I like Firefox, though I have been to lazy to put it on the Mac yet. I might not. If Firefox is a 9.0 then Safari is a 8.9.

As far as IE it completely sucks I used it for years and years because I just didn't know any better. The controls suck. The constant crashes suck. Looking back it was like I was playing with stone tools while everyone else was already in the Bronze age or something.

I have yet to have Firefox crash on me. That's on 3 computers. Safari crashed on me last night for the first time in a month.
