As tired as I am, I might have to go straight past Coke tonight and go for the Monster in the fridge. Otherwise, I'm not sure I'm going to make it to the gym tonight.

I learned that the mosquitos in my back yard are big enough to carry off the family dog.

It's now lady bug season and they are all trying to get in the house. A couple dozen have made it in and are hanging out on the ceiling...

We get that here at the office. When it gets cold out they take refuge inside and huddle together in a corner. Usually they are grey or a greenish yellow around this time.

I like. I consider them to be good luck.

You've got mutants.

Ours turn red when they mature, but it seems like while they are in the office they are not adults yet or something.

We have alot of crepe myrtles around here and they seem to love them. I think crepe myrtles tend to get aphids pretty bad, and love bugs love to dine on aphids.

We had a lot of them last year too. The front of the house faces south and gets really warm in the sun, and today is a nice warm bight blue sky upper 60's day. Gotta be careful opening the front door as they wait to be let in!

The ones here are red with black spots. The front of the house was loaded with them, but the sun is gone behind the trees now, so just a few bugs lift. Stink bugs were hanging around too.

Yes the mighty stink bug.

I had a really cool praying mantis in my garage Sunday. He didn't like me hitting him with the leaf blower.

Everytime I see a lady bug or a praying mantis or a walking stick I think of this...

I had a praying mantis when I was a kid. It layed an egg. I stored it away in my sock drawer until one day my mother opened it up to find hundreds of babys crawling around inside!
