...AN EARLY WINTER STORM SYSTEM TO EFFECT MUCH OF THE UPPER
MIDWEST SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY...

.THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHANHASSEN HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WATCH FOR PARTS OF WEST CENTRAL AND CENTRAL MINNESOTA FOR
LATE SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF
4 TO 6 INCHES ARE LIKELY ROUGHLY NORTH OF A LINE FROM GRANITE
FALLS...LITCHFIELD...MONTICELLO...TO PRINCETON.
A LOW PRESSURE AREA WILL ORGANIZE AND STRENGTHEN OVER THE ROCKIES
SUNDAY THEN LIFT NORTHEAST OVER THE MIDWEST SUNDAY NIGHT AND
MONDAY. THE SYSTEM WILL QUICKLY EXIT THE UPPER MIDWEST MONDAY
EVENING.
SNOW WILL DEVELOP SUNDAY NIGHT OVER WESTERN MINNESOTA AND SPREAD
NORTH AND EAST OVER CENTRAL MINNESOTA AND WESTERN WISCONSIN BY MID
MORNING MONDAY.
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES ARE ALSO LIKELY SOUTH OF THE
WATCH AND NORTH OF THE INTERSTATE 90 CORRIDOR IN MINNESOTA AND
OVER WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN.
THE SNOW COULD ADVERSELY IMPACT TRAVEL...ESPECIALLY LATE SUNDAY
NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON OVER THE WATCH AND NEARBY AREAS.
I need to move.

I learned that Nathan should live in Canada not just anywhere but here in Victoria BC where we hardly get any snow.

Nathan, I used to live in Scottsdale, AZ.....and that's about as good as weather gets as far as I'm concerned.....and the roads are like silk. A great combo, not to mention I loved having palm trees all around me.

My grandparents have a condo in Scottsdale. Haven't been down there since mid 90s though.

February or March might be a good time to go visit, when it's 20-30 degrees up here and probably 80-90 down there.

They don't go down there really anymore either. Most of my grandpa's friends are gone and he can't really play golf anymore. They've mostly just been renting it out.

Other way around. When it gets down to -30 in the winter, 90 sounds really, really good.

+1 agreed. 90 is hot enough you can enjoy a pool or the ocean. 70 is a little chilly for that. Comfortable yes, but not hot enough for swim suits, etc.

Sigh....I need to see some palm trees soon. Summer coming to an end just stinks.

The weather is hands down the hardest part about moving back north. For 7 years, all I knew was hot and sometimes cool.....forgot what cold was. Oh well.

All of you need to just shut your pie holes. The earth will be a billion degrees hotter in just 10 years according to Al Gore. So I think Nathan will finally be happy. Get your SPF 1,000,000 ready. Again this is according to Al Gore and his 'consensus' of scientists.

Yeah, I don't think they realize when they talk about global warming that it actually sounds good to some of us.

Whoever said 'global warming' is bad. Even though its not happening. But if it were, why not. Hey maybe it'd be good. It's just a scam to cripple the US capitalist system and redistribute wealth to the rest of the world. In China you can't even see the end of the block in the cities, but they're exempt from these treaties. Yeah right.

There are people out there, Americans even, who don't believe that our country is special in any way. That we have robbed resources from the world at the point of a gun and we should be punished back to the stone age. Then there's people like Al who want to profit from it with power, prestige, and money too of course. IMHO
