Holy crap- we were wasting time waiting for the school bus today...THREE days later the SOB builder hasn't done anything else to it.

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad I changed houses.

 

On the bright side-
I have exclaimed-
I DIDNT KNOW WE HAD THIS!! more times than I can count. I found Jimmy Buffetts Margaritaville glasses!

I am officially packed up.I even passed the point where you pack all the stuff you don't like.
Final walk through this morning.

I gained an extra table. Our friends moved- all their stuff was BRAND NEW. They decided they needed NEW brand new stuff when they moved. So I gained a breakfast room table, bakers rack and wrought iron glass living room tables(mine are maple, don't go with leather).


Anyone need a junky couch?

I have power.........
So I go to click on the breakers. One trips. Stupid me clicks it back on and shocked the pee out of myself.
Circuit short. Electricians are back out fixing it now.

In closing- I am landscaping today.........And moving in at high noon tomorrow.

NOW the test- is how many hopped up on plant steroids can I fit into a mustang? I have 3.5 hours before the kids get home to test it.

Yo my friends- the time has come to finally be done with the long stressful summer!

yesterday I planted flowers at the new house all day. I got home and all I wanted to do was Take a long shower and eat. I was filthy and I smelled. I had my final walkthrough, and all the broke stuff was fixed.

I get home the mortgage company calls- I have to have my funds verified- So I had to run over there, then run to my Dads to get him to cash a boatload of checks for me so I could meet their 2 months of payments verified rule. GRR.

This morning we have to go to the bank and get a letter of YES we have some money in there, and then go close. This has been a freaking stressful and exciting nightmare.


Ha- builder already gave me the garage door openers.

My new neighbors are a lot nicer than the others, I actually have a yard now- I live on the cool side of the development(garden houses, on the right, regular subdivision on the left) and FINALLY after all this time I finally get to swim in the big ole pool.

 

I did get a little mustang love last night.

As I was running around like a chicken with its head cut off-

I passed a mineral grey Gt. It flashed its lights at me. Usually all but two of the other 05s around here ignore me.

 

It's so quiet, you think she's actually busy??

Holy snot I hate moving. The actual moving part is fun- then you have the stuff you don't want left in the old house.
So Thursday I landscaped here. Yesterday we hung curtains and blinds and I planted more flowers till midnight. We slept till six, came here and have been unpacking all day. I anticipate a week before its done. I smell like a hog, and my bathroom is blocked by the bed we didn't do yet.


This house is sooooooooooooo cool. I adore it! Eddie is completely happy- he isn't stuck in one room anymore. This house rocks- all the PITAS I went through for it are completely worth it. hades- right now I shouldn't have internet, but someone forgot to put up a firewall.

Tomorrow we move piddly crap and clean out the old house. Ellie isn't even able to enjoy her new garage- its filled with stuff.
There are of course odd things- the AC upstairs does not work, the front door is not sealed- it came a tstorm this afternoon and water came pouring in. My kitchen light is broke, painting to be touched up= BUT all worth it!

This saga is now over
