The car looks good, but the grill is hideous. Go with the flat grill like a 67 or 68, or the slight bow of the 69. I was hoping for something a little more retro and without the buck tooth look.

you know i noticed something here.
The Chally and the Camaro look very very angry and the Mustang comparitively jas a "hey guys...wanna smoke a doob?" expression...just mellow. where as the challenger looks mad and the camaro look like it will kick your puppy and then pee and not put the seat down.

Just an observation

Probably won't see this car or the Challenger on the road. GM and DCX will have a hard time making a business case to compete with the Mustang, which has a GT MSRP starting at just over $25K and has always been a great value. Look at how the GTO bombed ($33K starting price). These concepts will have IRS and 400HP+. Don't expect to see them for less than $30K, or even in production at all.

This is the 3rd forum I've been to that has this pic and a link to Road & Track, but there's no information about the Camaro at the link.

Heck yea.......submit that to GM dude. For realz.

I was gonna say.....does anyone see Chevy grille deletes coming up soon, but I like that better.

Remember the video says GM will produce if the public likes the concept. Let it be known.

Now if only the Japanese see the light and field some affordable 2+2 RWD V8 sport coupes from their ample parts bins...
:nono: You better hope they don't, because the pony car is the one truly original bit of American heritage left that the Occidentals haven't touched yet...and that could help defibrillate the American auto industry.

So what, you're saying this Camaro is NOT a chick car?

You'll see them, no question about it. The only thing that would prevent the Camaro's return is if GM goes completely belly-up.

Do you think it's coincidence that DCX and GM are introducing these cars RIGHT AFTER the successful launch of the Mustang? There would be no point whatsoever. If they get a favorable reception, they will build them to prevent Ford from dominating the segment...just like the mid-'60s all over again.

That's a very good observation! These cars are monsters! (in a good way)

MAN.... that design almost makes me LIKE the Charger.......... :bang:

Personally I think it is HORRIBLE.....

(and not because it isn't a Ford or a Stang - cause I really dig the CHalleneger concept!)

Just looks lousy........

Looks awesome, but I'm not digging that grill either...it makes it look really cheap! I'd love to have the '69 hideaway headlights and grill on that car.

Attention GM: retro = 1968, not 1986. That front end is all Berlinetta baby.

Why can't GM let go of the whole giant beak-like front overhang? I'll give the rest if the car a B+ however.
