Gee, Mr. 70MACH1OWNER you seem to have a real problem getting your nuts loose! I remember you complaining about the trouble you had with your under drive pulleys too..............

Nope...not yet Larry. I am going to do my Earl's SS brake lines while the car is up in the air. How are those OBX headers doing for you? Just taking it easy tonight. I think I blew a nut last night. :-)

They're calling for sunny skies and ~40 degrees here tomorrow, if the roads dry out I plan on driving the car.

62 here this evening. Not good driving weather though.I haven't turned that traction control off in a few days now.

Scott, I'm gonna run the mid-mufflers this week yet, but I see the GTA's going on again.I'd forgotten what a Mustang with headers & bullit mufflers sounded like

He's been around, instigating trouble with complainers:

Anybody get the magazine "Modified Mustangs"??? Read the article about the mustang called Warp 7. Claims 750hp and a 7 sec 1/4 at 212mph.????

A guy on ModularFords forum says he brought the guys stock engine and hes the biggest BS you ever saw. Claims he could do a wheelie with his car doing 70mph and flooring it. .

Hey Larry.......The little end of the year bonus fairy showed up today. I am ready to pull the trigger on those OBX longtubes. I know you have only had them on your car like 4 days but any reason I shouldn't pull the trigger tonight?? Got to go to the eye doctor at 5:30 but I want to get them ordered tonight. Also, how long did it take you to get them? They would need to get here by next Friday 12/21 since Karen and I are going to be on vacation the next week. I am also thinking real hard about those Brenspeed NSR camshafts also. How about any of you Midwestern guys interested in these cams that maybe we could approach Brent about a group buy. Let me know.

Scott if you want to order the OBX units but are leary about their arrival time, you can have them shipped to me. No, I won't put them on my car.

Scott,
No downside IMO. You know as well as me the few issues we had, no problems at all here.Definatly sounds gnarly.I still have to tweak down my idle. Got the rattle fixed, last hanger on the pass side.
Shipping took 12 days. I ordered day before Thanksgiving, shipped the following Monday & I got the following Tuesday,3rd. Holiday slowed it up some.
We should have it down pat now, could probably get yours on in 5hrs You gonna get some header bolts?

Somehow I could see them getting forever lost by the Big Brown Truck. Maybe your need to order a set and we can have a header-puttin-on-party.

Hey thanks. Well since it took yours 12 days I will just wait until next week to order so there is no way I can get them until after the first of the year. It's no big deal as I wouldn't have time to install them anyway. Yes I think the header bolts would be a good idea. Can you send a link to the ones you were looking at? I would appreciate it. Also I had a brain fart coming home from the eye doctor tonight. You know how you get 2 sets of H-pipes with the OBX headers? And you know I really like the sound of the Mac Prochamber I am running. So imagine this. I could fabricate a Prochamber box on one of the H-pipe setups at work while I run the other set on the car. We could do your other set at the same time if you would like. The Prochamber really lowers the tone and gets rid of some of the raspiness of the standard H-pipe.

No headers for me...... no more performance mods planned, unless you count clutch, flywheel, and shaft combo.

I'm very interested in the NSR Cams from Brent too. I may go that route (instead of the Saleen) and just stick with the 75 shot. Maybe with a C&L Racer and a Throttle Body I might get close to 400 RWHP on the Giggle Juice. Maybe have Brent tweak the tune for a 100 shot.
