Those wheels are pretty cool. He offered you $100 for tires alone, or wheels and tires together?

Wheels and tires together, not too bad I thought!

But it looks like I have another tow weeks to think about it, my build date got pushed back to the 28th of March. Not that bad, but I hope it doesn't continue! :bang:

Those wheels look pretty cool. I guess $400 is better than nothing. I've never traded wheels/tires so I don't know whether it's a good deal or not.

Yeah, I don't think it's too bad a deal, just too bad they don't fit with the tires I want to get! Errr! :bang:

How's your back heeling by the way? Are you able to drive your new Mustang around now?

It's getting better. Hurts mostly at the incision area and my legs since I can't stretch or anything. My hamstrings are so tight it's killing me but it helps to get out and walk though. I have managed to put about 220 miles on my stang so far. Nowhere near enough but, I can only so long without pain meds right now.

My wife was restricted from any form of driving let alone riding in a car for 6 weeks after her non-fused L4-L5 back surgery. Alot of lying down and walks. She got to know the neighborhood pretty well. Be thankful you managed to get the 220miles...

...better than the zero miles me, Blake and Falchion have put on ours.

Oh don't get me wrong, I do appreciate the little bit of driving I've done. It's so addicting though, I don't want to stop. Believe me I lay down alot! Especially after the meds hit me. I can hardly stay awake sometimes. I'll think about you guys next time I'm out driving!

You'll know all about it soon enough. Making excuses to drive your car for no real reason but the fun of it.

Oh yeah, I'm looking forward to it!

I've still been shopping for wheels/tires. Not sure if I want to spend the money though......

I'm going to want to get just some rear mats for the time being. I'll worry about "style" well after I got the car. Thanks for that link, I'll definately keep that in mind.

Tread,

I noticed from the Gallery that you got your windows tinted. Where did you go and how much?

Alta Mere Window Tint. It was like $153.99 after tax for lifetime warranty. I think they have another step up which was two hundred and something w/lifetime warranty. I have used them for many years now and no problems ever. Good quality too. They have alot of experience with the 05 Mustang. They also tint for Texas Motors which I didn't know til I went there for a tint quote.

Kool. I'll keep them in mind. I assume they're real close to Texas Motors then? If they have one TMS member happy, they could make others happy, too.

Do you know what %'s you got on the windows?

I put 30% on the side & quarter windows and 20% on the rear window. They are located on Alta Mere Blvd just south of that Mitsubishi dealer and Thornhill Nissan. I can get the exact address if/when you want it.

That's something I have to do too when my car comes in......

That might be a good place to go to, especially if they have Mustang experience?
