I'll probably get there around 4:00 PM, but Ghost said he wouldn't be there until 5:30-6:00.

Unless something changes I'll probably be there around 4ish. I like that flyer. It has a 10% discount for Motegi and American Racing products.

 

Yeah, I saw that 10% thing myself! Too bad I didn't see that before I got my new AR wheels! Maybe the AR rep will be there and I'll see if I can get the 10% discount to be retroactive?

Sounds like it should be a good show! Do you think there's going to be a ton of people there?

Will parking be an issue?

 

I think that flyer is gonna help me decide I want the Motegi rims. There should be plenty of parking and I really have no idea how crowded it will be. There is usually a couple hundred folks at the bi-weekly get togethers.

 

I saw over on the main forum that the Ford 18 inch fan blade wheels are only going to be going for around $250 as an option for 06. I don't know if Ford will offer them to Mustang owners who already have their cars for the same price or not?

I seriously doubt that'll happen but, it would be nice. I think I want to get something a little different though. The more I look around the more I see fanblade type wheels on everything. I'm trying to decide between the chrome or hyper black Motegi's. They won't be available for 6 weeks so I have some time to think about it. I don't know where Texas Motors is getting these wheels when Discount Tires can't for 6 weeks.

I already have the flyer from the last get together. I'm hoping that Motegi will have a booth there since they are presenting the car show. I saw on the news the other day that a mid section for the JSF was delivered to Lockheed. I can't to see the whole thing up close someday.

 

Yeah, I went down and looked at the center section of the JSF today. A bigger piece then I thought it would be. They're already working on connecting it to the Forward Fuselage. Man, am I getting tired of seven days a week! :notnice:

I haven't even had a chance to drive my new car around that much!

 

Hey guys, I read on another site(DFWStangs.net) that legislation to repeal the front plate law has passed the house and is going to the senate for consideration. Falchion, you might get to use the frame later this year if it passes and those of you who haven't got your car yet might want to hold off on the front plate(at your own risk of course)<--- you didn't hear me say that.

 

That's cool. I know that Ghost is going to get his Mustang pretty soon, and I think he wants to leave the plate off the front......

Let me know when you find out. Nary a word from the dealer, and ERL is still saying the same thing from last week.

 

I called in a few favors from the railroad police and had the train detained up near Justin to be searched. It'll be a little late! J/K I hope it shows up soon. I hated this part of the wait.

Not a very precise thing. That can track a package on UPS's web site easier then you can track a car that you ordered! Not the best thing! :notnice:

But, the ERL only updates once a week, late Thursday or early Friday. So, it could be right around here somewhere. But will it ib this week, or next? No knows? Probably not even Ford!
