I guess I'll knock on your window then since I don't drink coffee. I love donuts but, hate coffee.

I think we (Discount Tire & I) found the vibration problem with my wheels. I need hub rings so the wheels will fit the hubs like OEM instead of relying on the lugs to keep it all tight and vibration free. The Mgr said he won't charge me for the rings($15) since he should of thought of putting them on in the first place, which I thought was pretty cool of him. He also torqued the wheels while the car was still on the lift which is supposed to help. The rings should be here Tuesday so we'll see how it works.

Well, so far torqueing the wheels while in the air has seemed to work pretty good. No vibration other than the ones caused by the wonderfully smooth roads we have.

Well, Ghost and I put the felt on today. It was fairly easy to do once we figured out what we were doing lol! Hopefully the adhesive will hold up to the Texas heat and not glue my windows shut. Anyway, I will be going over to Alta Mere to have my windows re-tinted sometime within the next week and we'll see if it helps the scratching. It was good to see ya again Ghost. I still think your car would look good with my extra set of blue mirror caps and Mustang Tuning still has the sale prices I told you about.

P.S. There is a GTG at Hooters over by Hulen Mall next Wednesday at 7ish. I'm going to go. Hope to see some of y'all there. Here is the thread from DFWStangs.... http://www.dfwstangs.net/forums/showthread.php?t=287232

ROFL...blue on red would own!

Ya, was good to see you again, too. Thank goodness I had your help on pulling the runner though! Post how Alta-mere goes. I dunno when I'll get to do it 'cause this weekend and next weekend are busy....and I'd hate to have new tint on the 13th (TMS run).

Luv it... the environutz never think about crap like this:
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>Ethanol-based reformulated gasoline easily absorbs water, so it cannot be sent in pipelines to terminals and then trucked to gas stations like conventional gasoline. Instead, the gasoline and ethanol are sent separately to avoid water contamination and then mixed at the terminal.
Yet another reason why ethanol sucks!!

Not only increase my gas price, but also reduce supply 'cause its a b!@$ch to transport!

You know they had to know it was gonna cause shortages before they did this which will of course drive up the price. Maybe they will change thier way of thinking when they need the Police, Fire Dept or an ambulance and we run out of gas on the way there!

And? Any grief on the re-tint? Did you keep the tint? I was thinking when I get mine retinted that I'd save 'em and send one to Ford with a not-so-nice letter.

Got it re-tinted with no hassle(warranty) and no I didn't keep it. I didn't even think about sending it to Ford. That's a good idea but, I don't think they would care anyway. Anyone coming to Hooters? I just woke up, yippee!

Well, you didn't miss much anyway. There were a few guys from DFWstangs and about 10 people from some import forum. There was a sweet vette with a Procharger on it. Man, it sounded cool since you could hear the whine of that supercharger. The GTG is supposedly gonna be a weekly deal so maybe it'll get better.

On another note; Did anyones' house get tore up Tues night during the wind storm? I lost a few shingles and the middle section of bush/tree thing in my front yard was laying on it's side when I got home. It was a crazy night at work with the wind blowing so hard. Besides all the power lines getting knocked down, I almost got hit by a flying campaign sign when I was checking out a business alarm.

Ya...an 8' length of my fence collapsed. We have the smoothe side facing us. I went and looked at the rails and pickets on the back side and they're all rotting away.

Looks like my Saturday plans are shot. Anybody wanna come help put up a fence?

I gotta replace a bunch of shingles. Hopefully I won't need to re-do the whole roof. A friend of mine used to be a roofer so I'm gonna try and con him into helping me.

My fence replacement was a success. A lot of work, but it was easier than I thought.

Who all is going to go for the TMS Laps for Charity? I plan on going...hooking up with the rest of the DFWStangs gang.

I've got about 60 shingles to replace and some bushes sooner or later. I went by Alta Mere Tint today and found someone who actually knew about the scratching problem. He said they tried the felt deal on a Dodge p/u last year and the felt came off as soon as it started getting summertime hot outside. Not what I wanted to hear but, I figured that would happen.

I'm going to the speedway Saturday. I'll meet ya up at Sonic.

I think it's going to be an every week deal if enough people show up.
