Thanks for checking on the dyno stuff Bob. Should be fun times. That's assuming that your blingmobile can get hooked up since it weighs as much as a boat.

Needs to be at someone's house who has a jack and jack stands. I don't unfortunately. I am getting those in May for B-day. What time are you available on Thursday? I am free after 4pm.

Don't go practicing on the streets! I launch around 1500-2000 on stock tires. If you are using drag radials you'll launch at about 4000. Is your car a manual or auto?

190 sounds good just make sure they arent made by motive. Also yo umay need to get some fluid. Make sure you get 75W140 and make sure you don't skimp get the royal purple they sell it at oreilys for like $11.00 a bottle you will need two or three bottles.

Launch below 2000 if your running on your street tires I can give you some tips at the track if you want some.

Here is the most recent forecast for fri.

5pm at your house Dave it is. This is assuming the shifter gets here in time. I should have received a tracking number but nothing yet. I even paid extra to make sure it gets here by Thursday. If they screw up they better refund my shipping money. I do appreciate your offer to help. I'll pay for the pizza. Maybe we can get it done fairly quickly since there will be 2 of us.

I think it shouldn't take too long since it will be my second one and I think the Pro-50 is basically the same design as the Steeda so it should be pretty straight forward. I learned some valuable lessons on mine a lot of wasted time trying to do somthing that I couldn't do the way I was trying to do it.

Has anyone had a chance to review the tech articles that I did on the web site one for the shifter and one for the H-pipe?

Well so far the forcast looks good actually better than yesterday as far as chance od rain and temp goes. We might get some fast times if the humidity stays low. Temps should be in the 60's with a slight tailwind so I'm optimistic that it could be good. Just make sure to let your car cool way down before you run it.

You need to make sure you have a Snell 95 or better helmet. You also need to have long pants, no shorts.

Steeda says Pro 5.0 stole their design so they are actually identical.

I ordered from Atomic Performance, a company out in Connecticut. I spoke with them on the phone today and they said they would get it to me by Thursday with 3 day shipping. They said I would get a tracking number but it hasn't come yet. Maybe they'll send it later or tomorrow morning. I paid extra for the 3 day since it was originally going to ship with free shipping.
