Can't find much on the KR...except 600+ hp, they have keep this one secret,

Ford and Shelby will auction the first one at the Barret and Jackson this weekend, or it will appear at the NY show,

Ford is also going with a convertible GT-H ( which could be the secret ) and then a pink edition 6 banger,

Nothing about a Boss or Bullet,

And really sad rumors that Ford has stopped the Hurricane engine program.

Sells for the stangs has slowed so we will see what they do to increase sells.

From everythning I have seen, they are calling the KR the FR for right now. It looks nice but I bet it will be ungodly expensive although 600 horses is nice.

Well we got Jeffs shifter in and all I can say is "WHEW"! Its just as hard the second time around. We also ran into a couple of "issues" that I will let Jeff fill you in on. But all in all a great mod I just wish I had a boat in my tool box. (again ask Jeff). Well I'm worn out so I'm gonna get outa here. Jeff tell us how you like the new setup compared to the Saleen adaptor.

I've decided that if a mod went in with ANY hiccups it would be a miracle. Thanks a TON to Dave and his son with the shifter install last night. All was looking well. We had the car outside and jacked up. Then God decided we finally needed the rain he had promised us. Except we got a torential downpour instead. He had to unjack the car and push it in the garage in the downpour. We got SOAKED!! This is why we needed a boat.
So we reset everything. Got underneath and tightened the bolts to hold it in place, then one of the bolts broke. So we thought we could drill it out. Except we tried drilling the wrong bolt out. I realized Dave that the bolt must be for the automatic setup that is why they are blank in the manuals. Anyway, we decided to move on and then the bushing wouldn't go on the shifter arm to the transmission. Turns out it got bent some how. Now this was either due to the Saleen adaptor OR it was done when I insalled the Saleen adaptor. I don;t know and can't remember. It very well might have been when I installed it. Anwyay, we had to rebend the arm to get the bushings on. Once we had that done it was ok but wow was it a PITA. We were glad to have it done.
Shifter works like a dream. Only complaint is that it takes some effort, to say the least, to get it in 5th and reverse. 1-4 are smooth as silk. They say the 5th and rev will loosen up with time.
Dave, did you find it odd that even with your install didn't require any lock tight on the bolts?

Well it does call for some locktite I figure I will back the nuts off and put some on later. I didn't have any at the time of the install.

The hood looks great...especially if the two back vents and opening of the two scoops are functional..

Ford will later on have kits for the GT500 and the GT500KR that will increase hp up to 600 and possibly 800 ! Probably the Steeda kits,

Now, if they did something with the brakes and suspension ?

Cone shaped things? What in the world are you talking about.

Ok guys, we are getting close to that time. Are we going or not? The forecast is 80% rain with some of the storms being severe....

Looks like we are going to get boxed in by the rain. Too bad. I really wanted to try the new shifter with the other mods. I guess there is always next week right? :-(
