Well if David buys 2, i'd use the other 2 and put slicks on them. I might go for the whole setup. meaning buying drag rims and tires. It's hard to find 17 DOT "cheater slicks". I can get drag radials, but I think i want to go up one more notch to the full DOT slick.

Jeff- Have you looked at brenspeed, or any other "takeoff" dealers?

Also... does anyone know where I can get 93 octane? JUST KIDDING!

Well I'm thinking of doing the MT 26X11.5x17 or the 28x11.5x17 I can't remember which fits our cars . Brenspeed has a deal for two take off bullitts and a set of these tires. If I can't find a great deal (hint,hint)on a set of used wheels then I'll probably go this route.

I tell you what paul how about you tell me what you have to get out of them for a set and I'll see if it makes sense to me.

Baiscally... Two of my rims w/tires for a pair of cheater slicks. So you buy my slicks, I give you 2 rims w/tires.

Haven't price any of the stuff, so I'm not sure if that's a pipe dream or not.

Well two cheater or regular slicks are in the 150 ea range so about 300 for a set plus shipping so say 325-330 which would make your wheels like 165 ea. Which isn't too bad if I needed the tires but I don't. So I guess I'm out. Too rich for me. Unless you want to keep your tires and try to sell them by themselves.
