Well... I hope so. I just ordered them. I called and made sure they were REAL FFRPs. Should be here by next weds or thurs.

 

Ok, so got my h-pipe put on. Sounds like what a mustang should sound like.

Anyway, my tuner is fried. I've been on the phone with Brenspeed and SCT all day. I have to send it back to SCT so that they can figure out its major malfunction and fix it. Luckily we got the stock tune back in the car so I will be driving around with my old airbox until I get my tuner back. I am not a happy camper about this. Consequently I didn't buy any 101 gas due to my tuner issues today.

Start it up...revs to 2500 - 2800

week later..start it up revs 2000 then jumps to 3000 then 3800

Did what Paul suggested..no help

Doug checks tunes and thinks the starting problem is vacuum related

Got David to come over and help download new tunes and install in car, starts normal, great

Drive to BHF for gear install, car dies 4 times...engine light comes on, wrench symbol appears--- on Creek turnpike, put in neutral and coast down to 35 mph, start it up, keep going that way to BHF

Benji is installing gears and will check into whatever is wrong with car.

Not good, not good at all...not a happy camper

Bummer about your tuner, what was it doing?

I'm thinking about funding the drag rims and slicks through the sale of my stock bulletts and P-0s. I was going to keep them, but really... With 5 gazzion of these cars being made and 4.9 Gazzion being equiped with bulletts, I don't think it will be hard to find another set.

Anyone interested? Complete set, less than 3 miles on the tires and rims.... Unloaded off the truck and drove straight to my garage. Had my new rims waiting ... Make me an offer...

 

Tuner wouldn't upload new tunes. Kept getting frozen on "Verifying stock calibration." SCT thought it was corrupted files so I had Brent resend them. No luck. I had SCT send some tunes. No luck. SCT thinks its fried and has no idea what is exactly wrong.

I am driving on a stock tune now. I had to put the old air box in. It kills me to do so, but it doesn't like my C&L. Car sounds great but it isn't as fast anymore and the dreaded hesitation has returned. It's going to be a long weekend and part of next week!

 

My Hi-PO bumper cover is here... Man once I install that and change to synthetic wiper fluid... I'm guess 9 sec 1/4 miles!

 

That does suck. Going backwards is not fun.

Bobby, I was worried that your car might do that since you had me install the new tunes and put in that you had the 373's I think your car went into fail safe mode. Worry not it will be fine once the gears are in.

Jeff sucks about the tuner. I hope thats not somthing that the rest of us can look forward to.

Paul I will give you 150 bucks for two of your wheels I dont really need the tires as I am planning to put drag radials on them. You shoudlkeep the other two and do the same.
