I was thinking the same thing! It would be awesome to trick one out exactly like your own ride!!

There's already a cowl induction hood on eBay, but that's a very common and VERY easy resin casting to do.
I doubt we'll see any specific parts for this car. You MIGHT get lucky and find some wheels that are close to Bullitts.
Someone mentioned louvers. I probably have a few 1/24the scale '65 Mustang lovers laying around someone could cut down to size.
The springs are so small, just cut them a little bit and paint them whatever color your favorite aftermarket springs are. Then modify the model however is needed (each model is different, cutting the springs won't actually lower it)
For the chrome tail light bezels, there's a product out there that is basically thin aluminum foil with adhesive on one side. Lay it over the lense and, using an exacto knife with a brand new #11 blade, cut away what you don't want.
Any other aftermarket parts anyone is looking for?

How do you paint the back tail lights?
Do you paint the back of the clear lens red
or the body behind the clear lens?

Paint the reflectors on the body with Testor or Humbrol-if you can get it-chrome silver, this will give you a nice depth to the lamps once assembled into the body. If you are reallly daring, instead of paint you can use Bare-Metal foil to cover the reflectors. It is a little more difficult but much shinier than paint.
Lastly when installing any kind of clear parts, use Elmer's Glue-All to retain them, it will hold the part in place and you only need to use a small amount. And it will not fog clear plastics.

Somebody build one and post some pics - stat!

I've painted most of the components so far. The only thing I have left is the body which is turning into a pain. If anyone is looking to paint theirs Redfire, Testors "red metal flake" spray can enamel is a spot on match. I tried using the candy apple red transparent/silver metal flake combo at walmart and it came out looking like complete crap.

Don't worry. It'll work. The paint on this model is from the same can that's on the car.

I would like to paint mine using the actual Ford Redfire canned spray paint you can get at the dealer or an auto parts store. Has anybody tried it on a plastic model car. Will the solvent in it disform the Polystyrene model car?
I ordered one online. Couldn't find anything local. It should be here Wednesday. Can't wait to get started. Haven't built any models in several years.
How's the fit and finish?
Has anyone mocked up the body & chassis? How's the stance. The model companies haven't done too well with Mustangs over the years.

I also noticed at the hobby store that Model Master sells spray cans with Ford and GM logos on them. None in redfire though.
Here's the body so far, I'm going to let it cure for a few days, then I will wet sand it and paint it again.
