Nice job! Looks great. The whole thing really sickened me when I first saw it. Glad you got your ride back. Just try not to go paranoid when leaving your car behind now...

Just saw your pictures

Just saw what happened to your car last year and I was hurt. I have a 06 convert. Mustang now. I am trying to sell it like crazy because I have 2 weeks till my 08 Vista Blue C/S Premium GT is here from the factory....can't wait. I am hoping to get racing stripes like you have, thats why I saw your car, but I am having trouble finding a qualified person here in Maine/N.H. C/S cannot come with the stripes from the factory. Anyway, I just wanted to ask if you found out who did that to your car. I had a similar thing happen to a sport truck a few years back. I saw two teenagers eyeing me when I got out of the car at a mall, and at the time didn't think much about it. When I came out of the mall it looked like someone had popped the door in with a crowbar. Jealous people do these things, but as my grandmother always said, what goes around comes around. It fills my heart with hate to think about people that vandalize others property....especially cars. There is a special place waiting for them in hell....makes me sick. So sorry you had to endure that with such a beautiful car. I'm sure everything is o.k. now and I'm sure it's a beautiful as it was before. I hope you found out that vandilism is not something that makes your ins. premium go up...mine didn't anyway back in 1999, nothing went against me I just had to be without a car for a while...real pain. Unfortunately being the way I am, I always park my mustangs so far away in busy parking lots, and if I can't park at a good distance from others I leave. I am so paranoid and I always have the fear that some jerk will do something evil...why can't people be normal. Good luck.

I'm glad you got your car all repaired. From reading your post it seems that you did all you could to avoid this type of situation. Unfortunately, even after taking all of these precautions this sort of thing does happen. There are unfortunately more uncaring, irresponsible people in this world than those of us of the responsible, caring type. Hopefully, this situation won't deter you from driving your car and enjoying it as much as you do. I went through a similar situation when I had my 99 GT in which line paint overspray got on my car when the apartment complex I lived at decided to repaint lines and not alert us or ask us to move our cars. Long story short, I had to go through the whole district justice rigamoral and it took months to get any sort of compensation.

Again, glad to see you have her back.
