Temporary insanity. I'm sorry your honor, I just don't know what came over me...

You're allowed to be tried by a jury of your peers -- 12 guys who have had their cars keyed.

Was blue one of the team colors that night? I've heard of cars being vandalized all because they had a license plate or decal of a rival team.

The worst I have heard was when I lived in England. The visiting team cars would be vandalized big time. You never drove to an away game, you'd take the train. Then the ******** would vandalize the train.

Also, e.g., if Germany beat England, then the English supporters would vandalize any German car in sight.

edit: I don't mean to describe all English supportes as arseh...s. Just a minority of them making all the trouble.

I'm sorry that this won't make the pain go away, but please don't let it ruin your Holidays. The car will be back in your garage as good as new.

In the "alls well that ends well" category, I submit the following. I picked up the Mustang last Friday afternoon from being repaired. It turned out better than I had hoped. Major kudos go out to Sewell Ford in Odessa, Texas for their excellent body shop.

They could not believe that somebody would do this kind of damage to another's car. They took as personally, if not more, than me. They knew what kind of results I would be expecting and they got it perfect.

Thanks to everyone here for the words of encouragement. It means a lot to me that others share the same kind of passion for their prized possesions. Here are the after pics.

The smudges that appear in the pics are just my hand prints after I ran them down the area to feel the surface. There are no differences anywhere to be felt. After it warms up some more, I will give the car the thorough hand washing and Zaino treatment that it deserves.

Man, that has me sqirming in my seat just thinking about that...OUCH. Remind me not to ever pi$$ you off

All joking aside, your car came out great; it looks like new... congrats! Now the only thing that would make this perfect is if travelinchris could get his "hooks" in the person(s) who did it

Man, that hurts just thinking about it... By the way, your car looks vaguely familiar. I wonder why...

I saw your thread about getting egged. What is wrong with people these days? We all have jobs and work hard to have nice things. What is it that makes others feel the need to damage other people's belongings?

Enough rant. Glad your car was ok.

You sure you don't have a woman mad at you? A line is one thing, but that looks like a pretty personal attack.

What made this bad ,the car had just been painted the week before this was done.
This is one reason I'm haveing a complete alarm system put on my 2005,which will worn intruders to stay away and if they get closer it starts taking pictures, starts pageing me and has a loud siren go off.
What kind of alarm system is that? Got any info on it?? thx.
