Adrenlin did a pretty good write-up on his shaker install, but I have heard they added a bracket to the kit now to allow for adjustment of the shaker that ensures proper centering.

Well good night fellas, got to get some sleep (if possible) tomorrow should be fun.

OOPs Sorry!! getting late !!! Congrats Daryl !!
Looked at the shaker hood. Hmmm. It's functional!! ram air creates more HP. Does anyone know how much hp??? It adds ??

I don't think I would cut a hole in the hood if it wasn't functional. Don't know about HP increase but I heard you don't need a tune for it.

It's Friday and I thought I would have my car for the weekend. No such luck. Waiting for a reply from Kzinti. Hope I get some answers. right now I'm left in the dark. No idea where my car is at !!! Took these 2 days off from work just to twiddle my thumbs and wait for the call. I kind of wish I was working to get my mind off of it

Ram air will most likely change the exhaust tone also. I know when I added the k&n alone(95 cobra) ,it added a deeper tune!!! I'm sure it's hard to determine the exact HP increase when it depends on forced air.

800 miles less fun Bill! But you are right.
One of the crew is a little miffed at the lack of response form the dealer. I even heard, " maybe I will jsut go buy one off the lot!" Think the first mate is becomming obsessed.
Feelin the pain there Tony. Have to say it isn't real bad though as it is 75, sunny and breezy out. Daryl I take it that storm wasn't an issue for you? Hope you get your ride this week!
Sea ya,

No hail storm here, car was in a railcar anyway.
I looked at the UPRR site and it shows Placed at Industry
Does anyone know what that means. I think we have discussed that in this thread somewhere before but I can't find it

Daryl- I think 'Placed at Industry' means the railcar is at the ramp either waiting to be unloaded or has been unloaded. Basically, it's close!!

I'm in Houston without internet today/tonight/tomorrow. I had to give the pony up to the husband. I got called at 6:30 last night needing to be here with 2 staff for a 10 am meeting. Up at 4:15 this morning for a 6:45 flight. Working in the hotel lobby now. Tired. Thanks for asking!

Thought Daryl would have his car by now!

Yea me too, but no dealer call today, and since I am 200 miles away from it now, I am sure I will get a call tomorrow

Bummer day for me. Few of you know that I was planning on installing my FRPP/Borla exhaust this weekend.
Unfortunately, it won't be happening. I hate the Q's

It sucks about the exhaust... I hate when that stuff happens.

I have decided..... NO lowering... and NO exhaust change! Can you believe it?

Lowering: I don't know if it's because it's a convertible, but the car looks longer and less 4x4-ish. The stance is almost perfect (the rear could come down a hair so I might cut 1/2 - 3/4 of a coil off). It rides so nice and looks good so I don't want to mess with it. I was embarrassed to drive the '03 not lowered (see attachment), but I don't feel that way in this car AT ALL!

Exhaust: Again, it's a convertible. It's so peaceful driving with the top down with a nice low rumble, and when you step on it, it really sounds good (I'm sure I hear it more with no top). I don't know if I want to introduce a louder rumble to the nice "top-down" cruising.

So, I basically just saved myself a bunch of money!
