Just got an automated shipping notice from the post office. It looks like my new, restyled covers are on the way. I'll withold judgement until I see them in person. Here's hoping for the best.

I called and cancelled my order about a week and a half ago, but guess what arrived in the mail today? I already have the Steeda's installed, but will at least go put these on the car before making up my mind.

Got mine today. They definitely fixed the hood problem. It closes fine. They actually don't look all that bad appearance wise either. i'll let you guys be the judges. Here's pics. (click them to enlarge)

I hate it although I'll probably end up keeping them just so I can keep the originals and use them for show. They still look like they're melting. IMO it would of looked better if the logo part was rounded out instead of looking as if someone cut it with an exacto knife. I like MWAG products but I have to give this half a$$ed fix two .

Thanks for the pics.

I put mine on the car today and snapped a few pics. Sorry they're kind of dark. I REALLY had an open mind because I love how they cover all the bolts, not just the center like the Steeda's I have. Unfortunately, they look too unbalanced with the melted side.....back they go. Guess I'll be waiting for someone else to produce some.

You might want to double check on this. In the bulk e-mail she sent out, Roberta Keidl of MWAG said that a call tag was included with the new covers so the original covers could be returned. Of course she also said they were shipping out UPS. Mine were shipped via USPS so I guess anything is possible!

Subject: shock tower covers

Thanks to everyone for their patience. We are presently molding the new
shock tower covers. We will begin replacing the covers starting next
week. Our goal is for everyone to receive the new covers within a 3
week period. We will ship the covers on UPS and issue a call tag to
your email for the old shock tower covers. Please place this label on
the old covers and return to the UPS driver at time of delivery of the
new covers.
If you did not have a fit issue, please let us know and we will not send
new covers.
Thanks

Got the new replacements, but haven't seen anything about the call tag:

We will ship the covers on UPS and issue a call tag to
your email for the old shock tower covers. Please place this label on
the old covers and return to the UPS driver at time of delivery of the
new covers.

I am going to see what they look like on the car tomorrow.

Garyb900,

Looks good and even though I too bought the Steeda's when canceling my order from MWAG, and then returned the Steeda's because of scratches on the pieces. Thinking of going back to MWAG's.

Side note: Noticed your brake fluid reservoir is leaking which I have seen many posts on other forums. I used plumbers tape, wrap 3-4 times around seal and put on cap. Fixed that issue.

Thanks

That could never happen in my town. The UPS guy arrives, plants your package on your doorstep, rings the doorbell, then runs off to his next delivery!
