Just went to the AAA website, filled out form, and yes it did say $300.00 under!!!!!!!!!!!!, but.............called the approved dealer and he said the site is being changed today to read $500.00 OVER invoice, still a good deal. The approved dealer is in Virginia.
yes, that still is a good deal

The AAA dealer is Kip Killmons Tysons Ford. The AAA certificate is supposed to be good for 30 days, but they are not honoring it at 300 under invoice now, so I am taking my business elsewhere. I called AAA and complained, because the dealer is taking advantage of the system just because the car is popular. If the dealer is going to be in the AAA buying program they should be required to honor the certificate for 30 days per AAA policy, otherwise AAA should not do business with them anymore.

We could really use some 05 pricing threads by state, because it really pis...er ahh ticks me off that AAA in California doesn't even offer the 05 at 300 under invoice. I'm happy for you stang fans on the east coast, but it would be nice to have a "California lowest price thread", or a "Texas", or "Seattle" etc.

Agreed, great idea! And for those of us in California, divide the thread up by north and south, since I'm 5-6 hours from L.A., and don't particularly want to drive that far to take delivery (but would to save 500 or more, I guess).
Done![/b][/quote]
Hey, Purplehaze, I have some painting I need to get done around the house, and I could use a new back deck. It seems you might have a little extra time on your hands.

Actually, I do like the spreadsheet. I am a spreadsheet geek and have tons of pre-made sheets in my office computer. The info is helpful.

I had talked casually after church a week ago to a Ford salesman who also attends there and told him I am looking for a V6 Premium Coupe loaded and will pay $500 over invoice. He has checked with management and they've given verbal agreement. I didn't get back to him till today but last week they actually did order their first 05 Mustang - a Windveil Blue V6 Premium on spec. He tells me that there are 2 Tauruses that just arrived today that are also Windveil Blue so I'm hoping to get there tonight and see the color and then see if we can nail down changes to that ordered car and make it mine! Stay tuned.....

Someone riddle me how $21,515 is just plain standard on the exact vehicle I want- but one dealer(Long lewis Hoover Al) is offering me $20,030 for the same one? I have no ford friends, so no special plans or anything.

Looks like the lowball one(also a HUGE high volume dealer here) is in the lead for my affections.

I called Pundmann Ford in St Charles Missouri 636-946-6611 and spoke to sales manager John Foley. The price was 500 over invoice for an 05.
Thanks for the AAA information.

I'll be right there. Just let me pack the flamethrower and some turpentine

Yeah so at what point do I realize that I spend way too much time analyzing and encoding data? Now it even dominates my "leisure" time. Everything I see just begs to get put into tabular form.

okay, I really need my '05. Urgently.

That is the same Quote I received today, 1K under Invoice...In Houston, TX.
I was hoping for 400-500 less. I am debating whether to hold out til March or April or wait for the '06' GT's

Ordered my GT today, should have it mid November. Richport Ford in Vancouver, actually Richmond Automall, is the place to go. John Lippold will go $1000 over dealer invoice to anyone on this site!

Email him jlippold@richportfordlincoln.com or you can call him @ 604-214-5525. I have to travel by ferry to the mainland and they are going to meet me at the ferry terminal to pick me up and take me to the dealership in the Stang when it arrives! John even said if the financing doesn't work out, I will get all my deposit back no problem at all. The guy is most accomodating.

Sounds like there needs to be a few more people like John at some of the other dealerships mentioned here!!
