I've only had one person say they'd give me $100 for them. Not happening.

Guys I have finally decided its time to do some real performance modifications... cai, throttle body and plenum and a tune.

Couple questions.
Are the above the best use of money performance wise? Or is there some other mod that would add more power? Keep in mind I already have 3.73's, o/r h and a catback...

What cai have y'all had good luck with? I am looking at the airraide...

Throttle body size? 70, 75 or 78 ?

I've been happy with my K&N CAI. Don't really think it matters a whole lot. Like my trickflow TB and plenum as well. Go with the 75mm. And stay away from the BBK single TBs (not sure about the combo). I've heard lots of rumors with them sticking. As far as the best combo, I've read accufab TB along with C&L plenum work the best.

Take it from someone with a CAI that turns down into the fender like this

That it is the biggest PITA to change the filter on.

I was going to recommend jlt ram CAI but looks like they don't make one for your car

But the air raid one looks nice and would my vote on what to go with also

You could always save a few more dollars and eventually go down to the shaker hood intake

I'm pretty sure they make a JLT RAI that will fit our cars. Only problem with the JLT is if you ever want a strut tower brace, it won't fit. I could barely clear my K&N.

I do like the jlt as well, I reallllly like the steeda, just can't justify the price..

I was looking at the prifesional products tb and plenum. Seems to be a good deal. I definitely do not want a fender cai. To much hassle.

Alright. Time for the dumb question...

What do you think the rwhp and rwtq will be will all my mods..?

I'd say 210-220 rwhp and 250-260 rwtq, assuming you just have a x-pipe, cat back, and gears.

As far as more mods, for appearance I'd do the grill delete ASAP, and for performance, Steeda under drive-pulleys, any intake really; I personally had the K&N typhoon on my 04, also was it tuned when the gears were installed?

It varies. I had a 2003 GT with this setup had no issues. That car got totaled. I bought a 03 Mach 1 and swapped everything over, it rubbed and needed the fenders rolled.

Wit... this was like a year ago. I am now lowered on super sports with no probs.

210-220 rwhp is around what they make stock...

I am not tuned, so the tune will really bring together everything. O/r h catback cai and throttle body and a Plenum

Your right, you may be making a bit more but without a good tune and some long tubes, the extra flow from the cat back isn't helping much.

Agreed. I am wondering when I do have the tuner, the cai, the throttle body and plenum, with my o/r h and catback what the numbers will be.. haha

I would say 20-30 rwhp more all together which would put you at a little over 300hp, just guesstimating; don't think the 2 valves pick up too much without cam/forced induction.

I would say somewhere in the range of 260-290. The tune is what will give you the power. With a good set of tunes for your mods, you'll probably see closer to that 290ish output. Stock you were probably right around 215-220 so I don't think the 290 is out of range with a good 93 tune.

I can't really see it make that much with those mods; my 04 had all of the above minus the plenum and I'm sure I wasn't making close to 300 wheel, 80 wheel hp is hard to gain with just simple bolt ons.
