I'm sure it's here somewhere but I want matte black 5.0 badges. Where are you guys buying them?

I was very close to going to my favorite but way out the way body shop and just spending the cash to have it done right. I got an apology and guarantee that it will be done right. Fingers crossed and hoping no additional damage done.

I bought the billet UPR ones from CJ's. They are pricey, but they really look good.

Have you had a chance to drive around after the install? How does the car drive after?

Got my car back today from the dealer scratch fiasco. Perfection! Finally. What a difference. This time instead of obviously taping around my rocker trying to fake the fix they did it right. Why not do it the first time? Makes no sense.

You would've had an absolute heart attack .....

I used a pair of pliers, grabbed onto one end of it and started pulling up.
Broke it in half, repeated the procedure for the second half.
Worst part was cleaning off the old glue/double-sided tape residue.
But in the end, both fenders were cleaned off and no damage whatsoever

I got my matte 5.0 badges from a seller on Amazon.com, they were less than $20 for the pair.
Amazon.com: Mustang 5.0 Liter High Performance Matte Black Fender Badge Decal Emblems - Pair: Automotive Amazon.com: Mustang 5.0 Liter High Performance Matte Black Fender Badge Decal Emblems - Pair: Automotive

Those ^^^ are shiny, not matte black

Stared at the center of my steering wheel and wondered where the pin is located.

Holy crap! I'm having a heart attack just reading that! LOL! I used fishing line and worked it back and forth behind the badge and it took a couple minutes on each badge... Still had to remove that residue (definitely agree, that was the worst part), but no pliers were involved! LOL!

Gabe... I had to pick myself off the floor. LOL. Pliers... wow. I'd have worried about scratching the paint from the pliers itself, the portions of the emblem being removed scratching the paint, and/or denting the panel or deforming it. But sounds like you're ok.

On a different note, who has that link again for that emblem place where you can get matte black of both the 5.0 and the supercharged underneath for like 25 bucks? I can't find the link anymore

I got out the Griot's Garage Speed Shine and the Vinyl and Rubber Dressing (for the tires) and got her looking beautiful for tomorrow's overnight run with my old S2000 friends. Twenty-five months and 31K miles later she's still drop dead gorgeous.

Yes, I did drive it couple hundred miles. It feel about the same. No major difference. I was just trying to get rid of the clunk. And I think it was reduced considerably!!!

Today was one of those rare days when I did nothing to my Mustang, other than a quick errand trip locally. Had non-car chores today, but I did tidy up my garage and organized my detailing supply cabinet....does that count?

Hey guys/gals - I installed some new suspension parts last weekend and have since had it aligned but it's chirping and squeaking like crazy! it's driving me nuts to be honest. I don't know if it just needs to settle or if I did something wrong or what...

I installed steeda sport springs with koni str.t's and j&m caster/camber plates. the car feels good! but the noises are driving me crazy and I don't know if it's something that will go away or something I'm missing?

Any help or advice/tips are appreciated!
