Being Canadian I know you don't understand this but people who become president end up caring more about their legacy and their names in history books than about whether or not they're fat cat friends make another $100million with the exception of Hillary Clinton of course which only cares about how much money she can make on the deals. Our forefathers back before 1800 set up the electoral college system and it still works the way it's supposed to. The country never goes too far right or left before it gets yanked back in the other direction. It always works this way wonderfully. The country was going way too far left and look what has happened. Now the right has the majority in Washington so in about 4 years we will see how far we have turned around. I'm just glad we have taken that turn because it was getting dangerously close to going too far.
