Wow, your spoiler looks like crap... We need to fix that. And I've decided that we HAVE TO make a negative, not just that we "should"...

Thanks
I know it looks rough on the back there, but theres no time to fix it. I'm going to leave it like it is for the show. theres other stuff to fix first

shoot me
fiberglass bumper looks like a horses ***, and even though its technically supposed to be my horse's ***, it looks too bad too put on. no pictures. we're reusing the old bumper, minus the bumper inside, its just the cover. the paint is drying in the backyard right now. it'll need a nother coat of red soon
and the carbs coop got here. whoop dee freaking do. i was excited. i ought it was great. the hood cutting was ok. barely passable, even by MY low standards. and the flapper doors? no problem. making them work? BIG **** problem. The linkage just plain doesn't work. I cant find a way to mount it. so its sitting there, without anything inside, just the air filter. it looks kinda cool, but i am underwhelmed.
to top it all off during the hood cutting, i scraped some paint off the stripes, so i had to touch it up. also, the hood hole is ?BARELY big enough to clear the scoop. i mean barely. i have maybe 2-4mm in front and back.
im dirty. im tired. and im pissed that things didn't work out today. up until now my car was like "holy crap! look at me! Don't I look great for something a 19 year old did by himself?"
Now it looks like "hey look at me! I was built by a stupid 19 year old.. I'm mostly alright but that dumb kid messed up some crucial parts so now I look about 1/2 as good as i could have!"
bleh

But just know I'll have a little captain in me later tonight.
Photobucket got PWNED by hackers, so I loaded em up to facebook.

I was wondering how the linkage was supposed to work with no springs or the like. We'll have to figure it out next time I'm up there. Settle down about the bumper... It really doesn't look like the stock one looks bad at all. And for the fiberglass... That's something we'll laugh at later on in life.
When we do my bumper with the diffuser, it'll be sick.
Cause we'll make a negative mold, and yes, I am going to bother you with that every chance I get.

Yes, the butterflies are red, but I'm assuming that he didn't put them in because of the whole linkage issues.
That car scoop looks awesome. How does it work with the air filter? is there one inside of the scoop?
Also you need to get a spacer to get the scoop to match the hood hieght.
Most of those pics above i can't see, were any of the fiberglass bumper? If you made a bumper from fiberglass just wondering what steps you did to make it and how many layers of glass you used? I really think a custom glass rear bumper would be the best for what you ahve you jsut need to make it properly.

I already have a cab spacer, I think the height is ok for now. My next spacer will be made by Weiand

thanks for the kind words everyone, i'll figure this out

Good luck Arin. You should bring the fender today. I got the rest of the sticker off today, the gross sticky stuff. I have to work on the pinstripe thing, though.
