*Updated* Arin's Uber "76" Mustang II Buildup
I just wanted to stop in here and mention this thought:
This thread is so very full of WIN!
From 5-18-05 through today, 6-24-08, has Arin been workin' on this car. From the possibility of just getting it at first, all the way up to it's showing up at that show under it's own power, and everything in between. What a ride! Reminds me of my Muskrat, only yours is really bad ***.
Great job, Arin. Just fantastic. I can't wait to see what happens next!

Thanks Man
at the moment the top of the priority list is somehow fandangling smog certification and replacing the thermostat, the thermo housing gasket, the hose, and the flex fan. then after that i have to tinker with that carb scoop linkage to make it idle betterly, and finally after THAT i have to retune the carb.
I also need to see whats up with the trans. it used to shift right where i wanted it to every time, but now accelleration is lagging after 3K rpm. When I used to floor it, it would ROAR to 6K, shift, chirp and repeat...
Ah well, I gots time

GREAT WORK ARIN!!... you know you can allways count on me... its your car and you can do anything you want!... it kinda looks like a madmax thing... and the front kinda looks like a 68 bullit because of the black crome things... but it also looks a lil (my bad, sorry) like a general lee... the stripes seams... weird... like they are not alighned... you need some work on the interior... great show you got with all of the other cars... you need to come down here and bring that car! lol... anyways if you need something tell me, maybe its cheaper down here and easier dunno... hope to get you on e-mail for some ideas... you could tint all the windows by now lol... nice... really nice...

Thanks man!
The interior will get done in the future, no time or cash right now. the stripes are mediocrely done lol, I tried to eyeball it best I could. The edges are measured, and they got kinda wobbly in some areas. the only place were i really got it wrong was the rear bumper, since i painted that seperately.
I don't think my car could make it to Mexico in its current state, needs some major tuning in the engine compartment. I'm glad you said Mad Max, that was exactly my goal, just a little flashier
And don't worry about the general lee comment, not a problem
Thanks for the kind words and the offer buddy

ive been relaxing lol
ive done no car work, but ive torn down my bike completely, which ive decided to part out.
the rest of the time, work, doing photoshop stuff for family, and goofing the hell off.
and if you count today, blowing stuff up
