just suggestions... and I would pay that extra 100 to make my car look meaner!

people will be pulling over to let you pass because they'll be afraid (I know nothing new, but this time they'll move aside because of the car, not because of you)

videos will come in due course. as for now....

and alright, boss it is.

also... the Lincoln Oil pan doth not fit. i need to either get my hands on a Mustang II oil pan, or find out if first gen oil pans will fit. the issue was that the second hump in the pan (towards the back) was interfering with the steering. ive looked at 60s era pans and they dont seem to have that second hump. anyone know if it will fit?

Jason. i snooped around that page and looked at transpak kits too. they ost twice as much, but then again, thats not that much (60 bucks at summitt) and it seems to do more, especially if you are shifting manually. definately going to spring for this! what a deal. maybe i'll have money for both that, AND the nitrous

Good to see everything going smoothly!

don't wanna put any bad jibes on this, but my dad had boughten himself a CobraII with a busted engine, and he bought another car with a barely used Ford V-8. He was going to swap the good engine for the bad one, so he took it to a mechanic... to make a long story short, let's just say that he never rode it out of the garage.

But seeing that you know someone who knows these guys, I'm pretty sure it'll come out great. My dad didnt know squat about his guy.

yes, i do think i know these guys lol... its my uncles shop, and i used to work there too

i did some research too, and found out that a 60s 289/302 pan will fit, just needs a bit of hammering as well... just like my trans tunnel lol.

and no worries about the story about your dad's cobra II. you cant possibly give me bad jives now, seeing as you told me that story eons ago... wait.... unless.... THATS WHY IVE BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS SINCE DAY ONE!!!!!

lol anyhow, i'll let my uncle know that he can use a regular old pan from a 60's stang and that he has to hammer it a little bit tomorow. is arin excited? ****straight! argh!!! tomorow is sunday, that means the shop is closed. ah well... at least this way i can tell my uncle to pick up that shift kit for me as well

well... no new news, other then the fact that i learned a ministarter will be needed if i go with a 60s pan. need to tell my uncle about that lol.

i have a feeling the shop's closed. i got home and had to do the amount of hw that comes with 4 AP courses and by the time i thot to call him, well it was too late.

i get off school at around 12 tomorow, so i'll give him a call then. maybe i'll call his cell later. i still have to tell him about the shift kit.

so basically... nothings new yet lol

oh shush. you were just fine when there was no news at all

besides, if you think YOU are bored with my lack of news, how frustrated do u think I am lol. all i could do today was daydream about my baby. i keep myself sane by listening to clips of cars with 302s and glasspacks with my eyes closed, so i can imagine my II :P

Sweet! I haven't seen the updates in a while, glad to see the V8 finally going in. So what has happened to the T-5 tranny idea? are you just gonna keep the auto?

I like that name Chris.
