hey everybody, did some hood planning today. i cant exacccctly do the '67 style hood. atleast, not have it look right. there are hood supports that i DONT want to cut, so im going to stick to cutting in the support openings:

so i could do the '67 louvered hood, but it woud be narrow and look like crap. now there are other options:

cut HERE:

and do either a GT-H/early new edge V6andcobra style hood

or a new camaro style scoop
or a concept mustang hood (also will be somewhat narrow)

OR i could cut here:

and do a kempt cobra II/S197 saleen style look

if i do the saleen venty thingies it also leave the possibility of the old hoodscoop or even the center nose scoop/extractor all at the same time

im kinda leaning towards these four:
-JUST the center heat extractor a la 99 cobra
-JUST the saleen vents
-BOTH the center extractor and vents
-BOTH the vents and my current hood scoop

what do u guys think?

Your idea for the Bullitt II is looking great! I hope it ends up looking just like that. Nice movie poster too.

EDIT: I didnt see youre last post before I made mine, I'd go for the look of the 99 cobra/GT-H hood it would look the most like the 67/8 hood.

ooo, this is a tuffy

i'd like to see the saleen vents and center extractor, but that wont follow the Bullitt..hmm, just the center extractor would look more Bullitt-like so....see if you can't chop something up see what you like/looks best

posted this in the rendering thread so...

update paint wise. this wont happen for a while. ive decided the amount of money my prrents are willing to loan me for the paint is not enough to get a quality paint job. ive decided to give her the ol' rattle can special, aka black primer. the rest of the cash is going into suspension bits

maybe maaaaaayyybbbeee a carb scoop, a la burninman lol

No one believes in lucky necklaces, tell your brother that when the car is done, you can take him to Washington, DC and a lot cheaper too

Give him the car and he'll never hate you again

Unless of course he crashes it and then you'll hate him
