Awesome.
Should be a pretty quiet weekend, just cold. Hopefully all the snow melts away. A lot of melting today.

Drove it top work today. got the body work taken care of, just trying to determine if I need to do more for the air scoop bit, but all seems ok as far as I can tell, just got to work out the minor crease in the door....

aside from that I am deciding on if I want to put a bug flector on as well...

Got black 60's plates to match the car. Those white fluorescent plates stuck out like a sore thumb. Lousy pic. Will post better ones later.

How cool is that! This is the first time I saw your ride on this forum. I waited about 3 months for my plates. I guess you were among the first to get them and they had a backlog. They're very popular.

I think the original plate numbers for '64, 65 started with "D" thru "F." 3 letters, 3 numbers. I know for a fact that 1967 black plates started with "T" thru "V". Just some trivia. Sorry if this is something you already know.

No actually lol, I know a lot of people that ordered theirs a few months ago and got them before mine. I was one of the preorders! I'm quite annoyed actually since the text is all left justified, instead of centered. Online you can add a 1/2 space before your text so it's all centered - for the preorders, it was a paper form with only 7 spots, so I assumed it would be centered.

Yeah I plug mine in once every few weeks. She stays hibernated (no starting) till spring.

You plug it in once every few weeks? You don't leave yours on or plugged in Burton?
I start mine every once in a while during the winter if it nice out and the snow/ice is clear of the driveway. That is the reason I plug mine in as opposed to connecting to the battery terminals.

So Tony... Here's the scoop. I used to do like what you do. I'd start it once in a while, etc... Then last spring I fouled my plugs. After further research etc, starting it up like does more harm than good as it not only uses up gas (thus leaving more "air" in the tank for condensation), but it also allows condensation elsewhere in lines. You're better off just putting some stabil in along with a full tank of gas and leave it be. So that's what I do now. Don't bother starting until spring when I can actually drive her. So when I plug my battery tender in, she stays fully charged for the most part, then every 2-3 weeks I plug it in again.

Make sense?

Totally makes sense and I have read that before. That's odd.
I did it that way for almost 17 years now. I never had a problem. I've heard and read about the condensation problem. Did you always have a full tank when you started the car? I always have a full tank, but obviously the gas level does go down some after running the car every couple or so weeks.

Modified a Shelby rear shock brace to be able to move the shock mounting position inward for tire clearance.

Stock suspension is on. Disgusting. I cannot believe Ford let these cars out of the factory in this state. Wheel hop galore. Fistful of wheel gap. Just gross!!

And my buddy's Track Pack 2014. We traded suspensions (+cash of course) today, plus he bought all my BMR stuff too.

The shop we used is really cool, exactly an idea I had a few years ago. They have 8 lifts and a box of tools for each lift. They rent the lift and tools for $30/hr. If you need help, you can pay extra for a mechanic to guide you. Really cool service!

Yeah, that's a huge difference. At least you got the parts sold off quick!

Yeah it's funny I had this exact idea a few years ago, but obviously no means to make it reality. I'm sure a lot of other people thought of it too. Maybe if I win $700 million I can do it

Yeah it sucks having to buy all my BMR stuff all over again. I won't do it until Ford fixes this heap once and for all though. It's weird not having to slow down for speed bumps haha!
