Those look fantastic. Can't wait to see them wrapped in 315's on your car!

More or less this is something that happened while in my mustang.

Was driving down a local street which is notorious for have police radaring people due to the fact that it is only 25mph. Its one of the few roads i usually don't even go 5 over on. So there I am cruizing along and out of the corner of my eye i see the blur barreling down on my bumper. I look back and its a minivan with an older gentleman trying to get me to go faster. At this point he seemed agitated. Slowed back a bit then gunned it again up to my bumper. We eventually come to a light and i pull up next to him to point out that its only 25 there. HE GOES OFF. I mean this guy was pissed at something. ME? his wife? the fact he could pass at any moment? I dunno.

What really took the cake was that he wanted to race for pinks. And that he would smoke my ***...in his minivan. At that point i was speechless. I had no idea what to make of the situation. I ended up turning and he carried on but boy he was angry for no apparent reason.

Yeah but they only had a little bit to stand on before.

I'll admit, it's a lot more than I want to pay for such things, but I decided on these after many recommendations of TF wheels and equipment and I saw them on a Shelby about a year ago (different finish/colors) and decided that's what I was going to put on mine. The only wheels I'll be buying from this point forward are dedicated track wheels (lighter, 18" instead of 20"). Until I get those racing wheels (which isn't in the immediate future), I'll keep loading these wheels with the Toyo 888's. I love the way they work with the car.

I had Chicanes on my 03 when I bought it. Previous owner trashed them, but I couldn't believe how light they were for a staggered set of 18x9/10s!

Had to rebalance all 4 tires due to a shimmy. Treated the squeaky rear brakes.

She was half @ssing it for a while.

^ Patrick... how you been? Haven't seen you post in a while.

Your new CS is looking fly. I love how the stock wheels go with that model.

Took the WHOLE family in Marilyn and went for some ice cream after softball and baseball!!! So much fun. First time I even tried getting my youngest in the car (car seat with straps). It wasn't bad though. Both the boys heed and hawed. Was great! Wife just shook her head in passenger seat

Nothing like taking the family out for a joy ride in a 600hp beast.

Part of my routine now before I drive it, is to remove the cover, wipe down any crap that found it's way under cover while in the garage (how the hell does that happen?) and give it a lite spray with Meguiar's Quick Detailer. I do this every day. Such is life with a black car.

So after yesterday's ritual I headed out for stripe estimate....going to do a pair of 10" stripes, just on the hood, deck lid and spoiler (no windshield header, nose, or a**-end)....Gray Metallic 3M vinyl. Got a great price and an appointment for next week.

I sampled the Gray on my car....should look amazing. Can't wait.

Tom
