Thank you, Gary!!!!
Thank you, Tony!!! The way my urologist has been keeping on top of everything, I feel cautiously optimistic that it will indeed stay this way...
The Legacy TMS Lady
Just a quick follow up... Completed my third round of BCG treatments today for the next 6 months... Until then, I get reexamined in 3 months by the urology specialist... If everything continues to go well, I'll continue receiving BCG treatments every 6 months for the next 3 years just for precautionary measures...
Not to be a debbie downer...........but my best friend lost her battle and passed away last week on the 21st
I am forever thankful that I made the trip to Boca Raton in March to celebrate her birthday. The world works in mysterious ways because on 8/15, I went with my future DIL on her bachelorette weekend trip to Ft. Lauderdale. My friend was scheduled for a liver biopsy on Friday, 8/16 (which was my bday) and we knew ahead of time that we were going to try to get together, even if it was just for an hour or two since I was going to be 30 minutes from her. Unfortunately, she was admitted into the hospital on 8/13, a couple of days before my trip, and things weren't looking good. She was sent home to hospice care on my birthday, and thankfully I was able to go to her house and see her the following day on the 17th and say goodbye face-to-face
My future DIL had several places in mind that she wanted to go for the trip, Nashville, Gatlinburg, Fort Worth, Ft. Lauderdale.......but back in April she ultimately decided on FL. What are the odds that I would be so close to my dear friend during such an important time?

Sorry to hear that Jill, cancer sucks. At least you did get to spend some time with her. I lost a friend to the same years back...I wish I had been able to see him one last time.

Wishing Everybody a Safe & Sane Labor Day Weekend!
The Wife & I Started Ours Thursday Evening With Some Mudslides Something We Would Drink Back in the Day! They Were a Bit Too Much For Me! I Ended Up Going To Bed Early! Woke Up About 10:40 & Went on The Porch For a Smoke To See Emergency Vehicles & People Yelling Something About a Hand Gun From The Area Where The Homeless Community is By The St Johns River Bridge. That is About 7-8 Hundred Feet Away From my House!
Don't Know How That Came in to Play about The Gun But What Had Happened & I Don't Know All The Details is Two Homeless People I Believe a Man & Women Got Hit By a Car While Coming Across the Bridge. He is The Twist They Were Going To My Neighbors Which is a Semi Homeless Group to get Water. Well I Supply The Water To Them. So I Got Some Weird Feelings on That Situation.
I Had Decided Thursday Evening To Take a Break For The Labor Day Weekend on Watching Any News on TV, Even Satire Like Gutfield or Online Like Telegram. Just Too Much Negative Info Out There and Need To Decompress a bit. It Has Overwhelmed me! No Political Posts Either from Me! In Fact The Only Media I Want To see or Hear all Weekend Will Be My Classic Rock Music, Ebay & TMS!
Anyhoo After a Tragic Start With Our Bridge Accident I Am Hoping for a Bit More Smooth Sailing!
What is Everybody Else Doing???
Stay Safe,
KC

^^^^ Not much here. Just enjoying sports on TV from baseball to college football. Happy to be around still as I celebrate my 1 year anniversary from my 5 day hospital stay last year (heart ablation).

Wow Kevin, Hope your Labor day weekend goes better than it started. Might want to keep the doors locked, possessions secured, and maybe a gun handy... Good luck.
We are having lots of fun over here. Guess its our turn to have a crazy fire summer. Early July we started out getting all the smoke from Northern California and Oregon Fires. Now we have getting what seems like new major ignites every day. Seems like the whole state is on fire. Especially all those cool camping spots that anyone might want to visit over the Labor Day weekend. So, not going to the mountains. Then here at home the fire smoke is so thick you can't hardly see down the street. Our air quality index AQI is in the Red - Unhealthy for everyone range at an index of 166, I am thankful that I do not live closer to Boise. My kids and grandkids are over there where the index is at 200. Higher is worse. They have shutdown all the outdoor activities so guess it is a great weekend to stay indoors and watch the start of the College football season.
Looking forward to seeing if all the Hype around Boise State is going meet the expectations. Ready for one super fun season ahead. Go Broncos! (and not Denver)
