Well finished winter storage prep. #901 has new oil & filter, stabil fuel, fat tires, fresh wash, and under cover till April. Only mid 40's while washing and the fingers on my poor disabled hand are number than the normal numb. Even with rubber gloves.

Enjoying my first glass of Mist since the medicine. It tastes sooo delishyouisky! See what happens on Oregon's civil war. Rednecks against the freaks.

Please tell me you haven't had to drop down from VO to C Mist.

Drove the 500 today and had a nice thing happen. Was stopped at a light and there was a really nice new GMC truck next to me. I noticed the window down and I looked over and the driver was giving the sign to roll the window down. He was probably in his 70s. I let it down and he said, "How fast is it?" I said, "It'll get with it pretty good". He said "Where in the heck can you drive a car like that?" I said "Its hard to find a place to really drive it" and laughed. Then the light changed and he said "That's a great looking car" and gave me a thumbs up. I said "I appreciate it" and waved as I drove off.

Really nice, that's one reason why I love this car so much. It transgresses all age groups. Little boys are mesmerized by it, and old men will force you to talk about it.

Yep - a few years back when the typical liar dem gov said "we're gonna get all those bad corporations and make them pay more". Which means the middle and lower incomes got hosed the worst as usual. Doubled dmv, title, cig taxes, small business fees, etc.... and a 25% hike on booze. I loved and was loyal to VO since early 80's, but I'm not going to (and can't) pay $30 for a half of Seagrams VO. Liquor is still a state run monopoly here.

McNaughtons is pretty smooth but zero flavor. CC about the same. CM is pretty smooth with a bit of smoky flavor to it. I like it now. $20/half. Still beats all that JB, JD corn crud.

That's terrible. I can get VO here for $22 a half gallon. I can't even drink C Mist. I can get Crown at the store next to the condo for 39 a half with a 10% discount on a case.

Yeah its outrageous. Used to be able to get VO in CA at Costco for 22-24 (+8% tax now) but last time I checked they no longer carried it. Only 7 or Crown. Really don't like 7 and Crown is just out of my reach for everyday happy hour.
Ever read the label on 7? I forget how it words it but it says something like contains 25% of (something else).

I never have liked 7, at all. This freakin' Firefly that I'm hooked on is breaking my likker budget. Its 34.97 (total with tax) for a half, and I can drink a whole half on the weekend (fri and sat). Been having to buy them 2 at a time to keep a back up around for emergencies. Still got 2 halves of VO and 2 halves of Crown that I've had for 8 months or more, haven't had any of them since I got addicted to the Firefly.

Yes. Only 70 proof so I have to drink more of it to get where the VO and Crown used to get me. Used to 20 oz of those would get me a good buzz, it takes 30 oz or more of the Firefly to get me really lit.
