Pretty pumped... going to NAIAS on Thursday! I went to the Chicago auto show last year (my first show ever) and I am now hooked. Can't wait to see the new GT350!

I believe the Ecoboost crowd may be even more fun than the Boss guys were.

WOW! You weren't kidding. They're serious about that ****. I didn't even seen anything posted that was blatantly antagonistic, just personal opinions. Apparently those aren't tolerated any longer.

I read just fine, thank you, and I still didn't see anything to cause the defensive responses that started to come back immediately in the thread.

But of course I may not have picked up on it, I'm probably not nearly intelligent and enlightened enough to understand subtle nuances in what people post, especially without reading more closely. If I were, I'd have probably settled for an EB Mustang instead of an SVT.

Now see, THAT is a blatantly antagonistic post. And quite passive aggressive as well.

But, to be clear, my only issue in that thread was ever the blatant trolling through inaccurate statements.

(And, let's be honest, the title - misspelling and all - was meant to start a "lively" discussion. I suppose that worked).

And what's wrong with that? Nobody was being attacked personally, people were posting their honest opinions (which is a good thing) and lively discussion makes the forums much more interesting. Locking a thread just because someone disagrees or gives their opinion instead of numbers and links to prove a point is like little kids soccer where everyone gets a trophy and both teams win. You start doing that, pretty soon its just people that agree with each other sitting around jerking each other off and telling each other how great they are. And I'm not into that.

...and some people just can't let anyone be happy with what they have & enjoy. Not happy unless they r picking a fight. A Mustang is a Mustang & everyone enjoys their own more than anyone else & its supposed to be a supportive community, not a bashing one.

Missed the point. An opinion is not stating something that isn't true just to get a reaction. As a note, I listed 6 separate items that were never answered.

I'm all for discussion and disagreement. If you can't see a difference between productive disagreement and simply disagreeing for the sake of arguing ... Well, I dunno what to say.

Yeah and I feel all owned and empty inside.
Why is it wrong to state my belief that the ecoboost sucks and detest that Ford is trying to ram those things down our throats?
