Some people just can't take a joke, or even an opinion they don't agree with. IMO (if I'm allowed to post one ) you came off as defensive from your first post in that thread and it only amplified from then on. But everyone takes things differently and if you don't know the other person very well (or at all) it can have a different impact on your perception. Goes both ways. Nobody terrorized anyone in that thread, it was very tame IMO. Sand in the vagina work better for you? Those were the good ol' days.
Too bad Joe is not still around to rag on the ecoboost.

Just give em some trills and tricks. They'll love it. Worked for our sax player all the time.

I find a loud low B flat works wonders. I have a couple on "Chattanooga Choo Choo" and " Little Brown Jug"

Just don't let your wife talk you into anything before the gig like Elaine did on Seinfeld.

Coolness! I used to play sax when I was a kid. Still have it stashed somewheres. One day I may pick a guitar up again but just no time right now. Just like the piano in the dining room I would love to learn. Lol

I want to say it's an old bundy alto but not certain. I remember I wanted a tenor when I used to play. And I've always been fascinated with guitars but can't play good enough to justify buying any for myself.

Definitely! Our older sax player Conway (70's) could only do one or two of those a night. lol

Reminds me of a show in early 2k's with Gregg Allman - probably "and Friends" at that time. I've been searching but can't get a hit but I believe it was a baritone sax - deepest I had heard. And he only had a few notes but when he would hit those super low notes the crowd would go off. You could see Gregg laughing cause the crowd loved it.

Yeah me too in 4th grade. An alto and was as big as I was. Think it was a Selmer? Whatever was linked up with the school band program. Unfortunately all they taught was boring band. It was St. Louis for goodness sake! If the teacher had infused some jazz or blues I might have kept playing.

Funny story - Conway always brought 2 to gigs, an alto and a tenor. One night after the show he went to put them in the trunk of his Lincoln and accidently left the alto on top and backed up, it slid off, drove over it, and went home. Then he discovered the alto wasn't in the trunk! Drove back to the parking lot and found it with the bell flattened. So we called him 'flat sax' after that.

He gave it to me and when my health gets better to finish my addition, I want to hang it in the bar. lol Along with my stuffed horse head.
