Apparently it's possible to live off the grid with one of those things for months at a time. The New HD built on the 650 frame is supposed to extend that amount of time away from civilization.

Those earthroamers can be customized in a ton of different ways, not to mention you can have virtually anything you want installed (or removed from) yours if you tell them to. You want GPS, you have GPS. You want a satcom system, you have a satcom system (though getting access to the comsats is your problem). They will strip the vehicle itself of any and all call-home tech if you want them to. Considering the price of them, they better be willing to wash and wax it for you free for a decade.

And now I'm off. Didn't have a drop to drink. Haven't had a drink since I had one $9 beer at a Spurs game last Sunday.

If I make it through the night, I've gotta drive the 500 tomorrow, at least for the battery sake. I haven't driven it in about 3 weeks at least.

**** me, gotta drive it or keel over.
