The kind of hours you keep, that would be brunch, if not breakfast, wouldn't it? Even so, it doesn't seem like any kind of problem from my viewpoint. You are a guy who pretty much lives life on his own terms.

Best. Christmas movie. Ever.

Jill, if you have the opportunity, try to get hold of a copy of Jean Shepherd's book, In God We Trust, All Others Pay Cash. It is a collection of Shepherd's (a true American treasure) short stories, most of which appeared in "Playboy" back in the 60's-- yeah, that's how I got wise to them. Anyway, they took maybe three of these stories (the BB gun, Scut Farkas, and the Old Man's award) and combined them into the script. The thing is, there are more of these great stories included which you'll love just as much! I'll be watching the movie tomorrow, too. Even though I've got it committed to memory!

Pretty much, lol. I love breakfast food more than any other meal, but I can't eat anything until I've been up for several hours, that's why we make biscuits, gravy, sausage, bacon, grits, pancakes, and eggs for supper a lot, LOL.

And yes, I do live life on my own peculiar schedule, which is pretty strange. I've always been a night owl and I can't turn it around. I may go to bed for a few hours with the boy and ol' lady around 9-10 pm, then get back up and stay up til 4 am and sleep for a couple hours then get back up at 6 am to fix him breakfast and get him ready for school, then back to bed for 4 more hours and get up again to handle **** I've got to do and get him in from school in the afternoon.

I sleep very little, its sporadic, an hour or 2 here and there, but I get done what I need to do and take care of those who need to be cared for.

That's what I told my dad when he saw the entry in my college expense checkbook. Actually I told him it was required for the Sociology course I was taking; he didn't buy into it any more than I do when YOU say it, Charlie. Kinda surprised Dad never suggested I bring my copies home so he could "recycle" them.

For grilling and using my smokers, I have a pair of gloves like we use for going in a structure fire lol. Freaks people out when I just reach in the grill to spread the charcoal around.

I once grabbed a rack out of the oven not realizing someone had preheated it for pizza.

I can't believe you've never seen it! I have it on DVD but I've never watched it. I always have to wait until 24 hours of A Christmas Story on TBS (which starts at 8pm tonight). It's my tradition. And then I always turn it on in the morning too, lol.

Deck the harrs with boughs of horry, fa ra ra ra ra, ra ra ra ra!
