While any of the three are helpful, it is my understanding the FTCR link,
http://www.thymic.org/?page_id=38
and ITMIG link, fund projects and necessary administration, worldwide coordination & conferences, etc.
https://www.itmig.org/donations
But the "Richard and Kathleen Ossey Research Fund" is more specific to research now so that's where my few dollars go.
https://www.itmig.org/ossey-research-fund
One of the key and easy to achieve points right now is awareness. Many doctors scratch their head with ongoing chest pain and breathing difficulties when typical cardio tests are negative. I was mis-diagnosed for 3 years as 'arthritis breakout pain'.

So docs should be a little more eager to do a chest x-ray when they can't figure out ongoing chest pain. Though thymoma & thymic carcinoma are rare, as always the earlier detected the better. Thanx Ron for spreading the word!

Some young kids are into cars from my youth group and my daughters as well. I was always into cars but my father could have cared less about them. So I don't know if there really is any connection to the car genes! You either have the desire or you don't? I think there will still be generations to like muscle/pony cars! I thank Hotwheels for my love of cars! :-)

My dad was neither a hunter nor a car guy, and I've found both have come rather easily to me. Never thought I'd get into anything more expensive than hunting or golf. Then I learned about racing and modding cars.

I don't even watch or care about football, but that was one hell of an exciting game today between Ga. and Ga. Tech. I heard the last part of it on the radio when I was riding around, a lot of monumental stuff. Ga. Tech held them down badly, and had the lead with only a few minutes to go. Then the quaterback lost the ball with a few minutes to go and gave up the lead. Ga. took the lead back then.
Then with Ga. leading by 3 points, Tech kicked a record field goal for their kicker (60 yards I think) and made it with only 3 seconds left on the clock to tie it up. First time in history that there had been a game that went into over time at the UGA stadium, and Tech made an interception during overtime to win the game. I had to hear about it from my boy, he is a proud Tech graduate and that is a huge rivalry. He was ecstatic, said the smart kids beat the jocks for a change, lol.

"I remember hearing Hey Jude by Wilson Pickett and calling Tom Dowd and saying 'who is that guitar player' and he said, 'its a guy called Skydog, Duane Allman, and to this day, I've never heard better rock guitar playing on an R&B record"
Quoted from Eric Clapton, the guitar God, speaking about Duane Allman.

I've been laughing at my oldest boy recently. I have seen all of the kids his age with their beards, skinny jeans and mumbling crap they love. I asked him if he was doing that and he said no, I wear nice suits, speak plain English, keep myself clean shaven and I somehow manage to get work and promotions over other kids that do the opposite. LOL.
He actually said that those kids are everywhere, and they make fun of him for being a "conformist" but he gets jobs and promotions when they are sitting on their *** broke holding on to their flannel shirts, skinny jeans and long beards. He has multiple $100K jobs and these guys laugh at him while they have no job but hang on to their flannel and skinny jeans, lol. I think its hilarious. These are smart kids that went to school with him but they refuse to be normal kids, they think someone should come to them and overlook the fact that they go to interviews looking like derelicts, lol.

They don't even realize who's really being the conformist in that situation.

Yesterday I stopped by my dealer when i saw this in the showroom. One of the first shelby's i remember seeing a few years ago. I remember thinking it was too bright. I had no idea what the motors and track pack were about back in '11, so i passed on it. Yesterday, though, i found myself drooling over this one. It has only 19,000 km on it and truly looks brand new. Track pack and all, it's gorgeous.
My service manager who is a friend of mine also, ran into the showroom and told me they are getting a ford racing division at their dealership. He knew i'd be very interested in that news. Currently the only FR shop is all the way across the region from me. almost 1.5 hours away. The thought of getting upgrades done locally by guys who love mustangs sounds like an excellent idea to me
not sure what's up with images on this thread, as the pictures work fine but won't work in here
