And there's few woofers that will fit the door sub enclosure. I had to modify my doors panel on the backside to accommodate the new woofer. I wouldn't do it again.
Woofers belong in a trunk space. Just like a bass cab needs a bigger box. Everything else is just a waste of time. Like those silly 'bass boxes' you put behind the seat of a pickup. Oh yeah... can you hear the bass yet?

Honestly the way I run them they are more of a true woofer or even mid-woofer and definitely not a subwoofer.

In my old setup I had a 4 way setup and I'm working back to that again. Component 6x8 in the doors, 8" door woofer, and 12" subwoofer in the trunk. The woofer takes car of music between 80-160hz. Subwoofer handles below that. Components handle above that. For me the 6x8s get strained below 120 or so and get distortion and the subs get muddy above 100.

But that's just me. And it is in a car. So nothing's perfect. But it is nice to hear the music sometimes over the headers and off road h pipe.

This. The 8am should be used as mid bass only, not sub bass. And Gary is right (for once) the less times you pull those clips out of the door, the better. The molex harnesses aren't too bad to deal with, just takes longer.

I'm most likely going to be using the new Audison Voce 8s, Audison bit8.9 processor/amp (one unit with both built in), Focal 5.25" comps with tweeters on the A-pillars, and most likely 1 12" AE Speakers sub infinite baffle behind the passenger seat (or 1 15" if I can fit it). I'm going to wrap the pillars and headliner (around the Glass Roof) in the same charcoal Alcantara that's on my GT500 steering wheel and the shift/e-brake boots I'll be getting. Most likely do the baffle for the sub too.

Ya, I would only do a midbass in the door. Don't know what I want yet though. Something that fits. Lol I don't need anything super exquisite, but better than what I've got now. I still have the 12" type R from my '02. I just need a new box. The one I had was crap anyways. Just don't know where to put it. I'd rather not deal with the hump.

Zen enclosures if you want trunk space. Or AE Speakers infinite baffle sub - you just mount and sell the board behind the rear seats, and you don't need a box in your trunk. Sounds amazing (most musical sounding "enclosure" type) and takes up hardly any space.

Does the zen enclosures go against the seat or or on the side?

Zen enclosure are in the corner of the trunk, same location as Shaker 1000. They do offer boxes that go against the rear seats if you do two subs though.

I haven't had any energy lately, well actually just can't get motivated to get started on things. After I get started I've actually gotten a lot done the last few weeks, its just hell getting going.

I think I've got Epstein-Barr with a twist of Lyme disease.

Trail camera gets new photos of OR-7's wolf pups

July 24, 2014
New photos of wolf OR-7's pups show that he and his mate have at least three offspring roaming the woods of eastern Jackson County — and maybe more.
Photos snapped by a U.S. Forest Service trail camera reveal at least two gray pups seen along the same logging road where the camera this spring captured images of OR-7 and his dark-colored mate.
Earlier photos from just outside their den showed at least one dark-colored pup, says John Stephenson, a Fish And Wildlife Service biologist in Bend who is tracking Western Oregon's only known wolf pack.
"So we're up to three pups, but it could be more," Stephenson says.
Information from OR-7's GPS-transmitting collar show the family has moved from its spring den and are using "rendezvous sites" about three or four miles from the original den, Stephenson says.
Rendezvous sites are where adults meet up with the pups after a going off on hunting excursions, he says.
The photos were taken July 12 and were retrieved from the camera July 17, Stephenson says.
See them at https://www.flickr.com/photos/usfwspacific/sets/72157644599128080/.

This is true...

But so is fatigue. I told friends at the pub its like a sci-fi movie robot that says 'powering down now'. The mind wants to but the body says no. Frustrating.
