I was thinking that didn't sound like your dad. I get your meaning too, it's a little aggravating to hear the befores always, but at least then you can see if their microphone records loud.

Where have you been? Playing with the new suspension in the truck? I pulled the bow out recently to start practicing again and had the string snap on me after two pulls. I'd had it restrung before I packed it away the last time; I guess I should have just left the old one on and restrung it when I got it back out. I have a nice red stripe up my cheek now.

Sounds great. I'm not a fan of excessive popping which steered me away from the KR's. But idle and under power sounds great!

Its one thing on start up, its another if it is excessive on decel. I have 5k' passes in every direction. Which means everything that goes up must come down. The KR's popped a lot on decel and would have popped all the way down the pass. I already have an old pickup that does that because of an exhaust leak. Didn't want my Bullitt to sound like a 30 yr old truck. So I stuck with the GTB's. They're the perfect tone - just quieter than the KR's under throttle and only pop on start up.

The relatievly quiet night at fire HQ was shot to hell at 0500 hours with a tractor trailer rollover on the Route 290 ramp onto Riute 495 Northbound. We call it "deadman's curve". The driver of the rig either wasn't paying attention or nodded off. Luckily, the load was boxes of fasteners and not hazardous materials. Got a lot of yard work done today, now it is night tour #2 at the firehouse... and we have the west end of town without water due a large diameter water main break... fun.
