Had to get an echocardiogram today. Never had one before and thought it would be like a CT but its just ultrasound. I looked at the screen and said to the tech "I can see my baby's heart beat!". He laughed. 
It was cool listening to the sound of my blood whirring. He said he's been doing echo's since 1978 when everything was analog and mentioned how much the technology has changed. I asked did they use tubes in 78? He said yeah. lolol He said his son and wife recently moved out and he's now caring for their horse. So he offered to come out and feed the herd when I'm gone for upcoming treatments. Thought that was pretty nice. Small town stuff.

Dang it! A friend just called and wants to stop by tomorrow on their way over the pass. Crap! 
Tonight I just want to sip this whisky and eat this turkey.
But now I have to enact WWIII to whip the man cave into 'fit for visitors' shape.

I don't like it myself. I saw it on Motor Trend the other night. Way too much ground clearance and just too awkward looking. I have yet to see one in person but I'm not impressed.
