haha - I was just thinking that yesterday after a mild storm with some wind came through. I'm glad I live where there are only pine needles (except a few aspen) because I would hate to have to deal with all those leaves (like I did as a kid in Missouri). And in town if you don't pick them up they become a stinking rotting mess. Pine trees ftw!
Plus they stay green all year so it doesn't look like Nathan's winter graveyard of death.

One of the things I love about hunting in the Apache Nat'l Forest is the evergreen foliage. There is absolutely nothing in this world that is more beautiful to me than an evergreen forest in the mountains.

My dad said growing up the Missouri/Arkansas Ozarks had a lot more pines but they had logged most of them. So when I went hunting there it was mostly deciduous.
So when I first saw the Rockies with snow capped peaks and evergreen forests I was hooked. Even moreso in the Pacific NW.

I don't know what it is about bringing tequila and pizza home but it was Party On! last night. Dirty Mary's and shooters along with this Fresh Hop Ale we brewed at the Pub (7.7%) made for a fun night.
Watching dvr split screen I saw Lotus on the F1 podium!, JF win 16th time!!, Bronco's beat Redskins, and some of the World Series. Unfortunately, all that is kind of scrambled together. lol

FORCE No. 1 QUALIFIER, RACE WINNER AND WORLD CHAMPION IN LAS VEGAS
LAS VEGAS (October 27, 2013) – John Force won it all today at the 13th annual Toyota NHRA Nationals. He was No. 1 qualifier, won the race and clinched his record 16th Mello Yello Funny Car championship at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
>Force captured the 145th No. 1 qualifier of his career.
>16th Funny Car championship
“I wanted to prove I could still race. (Wife) Laurie (Force) has been the best thing for me. She said. ‘If you would quit sitting on the end of the bed whining about what is going on. If you get out there and just win then winning fixes everything.’ That just got my head right. Go win that is what you are paid to do. I am good. I am tough enough. I am young enough to race and nobody loves it more than me. I am the sixteen time champ!,” said Force.

Yeah I got that, I think the 98 has 215-220 while the 99 has 260. I'm more trying to see how much speed that comes out to be. Because if it's a minimal difference I can get IMO the better body for less money! It's not going to be able to touch my 12 second crotch rocket, but either will feel like I'm flying compared to my truck

My buddy has a 2013 VW GTI, his best time so far is 14.4 in the 1/4. I'd hate to buy a Mustang that's going to get beat by a 99% stock euro!

So Lee... about those LED flashlights... I think the JetBeam is the best value for the buck out of all the higher lumen ones.
But I just ordered the Nightcore P25. It's 860 lumens so about the same, but is overpriced at $99 and only holds one 18650 battery so it will need recharging sooner than yours. The end cap is better for attaching a ring for a neck loop, plus it has Picatinny attachment.

http://www.rei.com/product/861223/ni...p25-flashlight

But in the end it was free! Thanx to your tip about REI giving a $100 gift card for getting their Visa. (I finally found my REI member card from '75 in my backpack.)
When you told me that I had just pulled 20k 0%x18mos off 2 of my cards which knocked my score a bit, so I waited and went through a couple of pay cycles before I applied for the REI card. Then you have to use it and then they mail the gift card. So its been a bit of a process.
But that's why I went with the overpriced one (REI doesn't carry JetBeam). Free is always better! Plus there's a $10 dividend back to my account.
I'll let you know if it lights up the barn 100 yards away.
Thanx bud!!

That's awesome. Glad it worked out like that, free is always good. What did you do about batteries? Those I posted before have been great so far. Hold a charge for a long time and recharge reasonably quick. Plus I got great service from that place where I got them and the charger, I even ordered some more stuff from them since then.

Don't care for that color combo on it, but it looks pretty good. Nice to see one all original, those are even the tires it would have come with if memory serves me correctly.
