Old man, exercising his constitutional rights in his own damned garage, shot down by a couple of rookies that showed up at the wrong house and "felt threatened".
There was a guy in the town over who chased off a guy that was trying to break into his back door. He fired a warning shot into the ground and they arrested him and seized his weapon.
That same night in a similar part of town a 20 something kid was chasing another. The one kid ran into his house and shut the door. The other kid charged through the door and killed the kid he was chasing.
And so how is a warning shot considered 'excessive' in a crime ridden neighborhood like that??
From cops showing zero restraint and blood thirst - to arresting those exercising their God given right and 2A right to defend themselves and their home - things are so effed up it is mind boggling!

At some point last night, I wrote myself a note (I do that often when imbibing) and now I can't figure out what in the hell I was trying to remind myself of. Kind of like when Jerry wrote that note about a joke and couldn't read it.
The note says (sloppily written at that)....

I don't know what I need! I just seem to burn no matter what! And I'm going to Carlisle next weekend for a day so ill be using more sunscreen lol

Never thought I'd say this, but I really miss Minnesota. Texas has been great, but its just not home.

I've actually noticed lots a similarities, but it just isn't the same. Familiarity goes a long ways I guess.
