What's up everyone! Moved some furniture today, always fun. Gonna have a few folks over tomorrow night for drinks and fireworks! Hope everyone has a great and safe New Year!

Yes!! There is a line there where everything comes together just right. One one side you get too much sour mix flavor and no buzz, on the other it gets a funky twang from the mixed liquors.
The recipe that I've come up with that suits my taste (and everyone that has tried it) fits perfectly in my mason jar full of ice.
I pre-mix equal amounts of all my liquors together. I use Seagram's gin, Smirnoff vodka, Curervo gold, Bacardi silver, and Dekuyper triple sec.
I call it the 3-2-1 method so its easy for people to remember.
I use 3 oz. of the pre-mixed liquor
2 oz. of Finest Call sweet & sour (best mixes I've ever used, look through the site and try some of them. Only place to get them here is at the liquor store though) I actually use one of the Finest Call bottles to pre-mix my liquors in. The built in pourer is nice.
1 oz. Coke.
Stir and enjoy.
I'm having one as I type this.

Have you tried adding Pepsi instead of Coke? I've been liking it that way lately.

We don't drink them that often and I don't have my recipe here but I think it was 2 oz gold tequila (I prefer 1800) 1 oz triple sec (or Grand Marnier if you have it), and 2 oz of the sweet and sour mix and a lime wedge squeezed in.
Never tried Pepsi, but I never have liked the taste of Pepsi.

Every one of the various Finest Call mixes we've tried have been excellent. The margarita mix is good, but we prefer using the same Sweet and Sour that we use in LIIT to make margaritas with. Like I mentioned though, only place you can get it here is at the liquor store, grocery stores don't sell it.

You call it a liquor store, around here it's called a Package Store, or "Packie". The one I usually go to carries a brand called Lemate.
I'll venture out to another big store and see what they got for tomorrow!

Grocery stores around here usually don't sell that type of stuff. Some do have beer and wine but not many.

Most grocery stores sell mixes like Mr. and Mrs. T's and a few others, but none of them carry Finest Call.

All grocery stores here sell beer and wine, but you can only get liquor at a liquor store (they sell beer and wine too). Some people do call them package stores here as well.

Hell, where I'm at right now, they can't sell liquor at all, even by the drink in restaurants, but they sell package and serve beer and wine. But you can drive 5 miles to the other side of the city limits sign into Gatlinburg and they sell package liquor and liquor by the drink in restaurants.

Now parts of Tennessee are weird in this area. Grocery stores can't sell wine, but they can sell beer. Only liquor stores can sell wine, but the liquor stores can't sell beer. You'll see a liquor store that is split into two parts with a wall dividing them and 2 doors going into them. One half has wine and liquor in it, the other half will have beer in it.

That's the way Alabama is. When I'm down there I have to go to an ABC store and they are super expensive compared to what I pay in Ga and Fl. There's a liquor store across from my condo that I go to that has Crown for $40.99 a half gallon, and a 10% discount if you buy a case (which is 6 half gallons), and that is right on the beach. When I get back to my aunt's on the coast in Alabama I have to give $53.99 for a half at the ABC store.
