More like 60% of the time. And it's 90 out right now. Perfect day to jump in the pool...if it wasn't empty.

I'm worn out too. About the same deal here, after that wind the other night it had a bunch of crap in it. Plus, this crazy heat and weather pattern has my water all screwed up. Got some weird looking algae that I've never seen before coming up in spots and can't get it off, even though the water was still crystal clear, and smelled and felt fine. Took a water sample to the pool place and it was all screwed up. Had to vacuum and brush it, backwash the filter, drop the water level down quite a bit and refill it, then had to add about $75 worth of various **** to get it straightened out.

And in between that, I swept, mopped and vacuumed the whole house, did 2 loads of laundry, cleaned the kitchen top to bottom, hauled off some recycling stuff, and picked up a big plate of ribs and pulled pork from my buddies BBQ joint.

Not to mention the humidity was through the roof today, felt like I was smothering the whole time I was outside. Sweated like a ***** in church.

Soon as this last load of clothes get dry, my *** is calling it a day and settling in for drinks. So freakin' tired.

I'm exhausted just reading that. Gonna try to keep up with the pool this time. Had to use the wet vac to suck out the heaps of dead algae.

Me or Lee? I've been in it maybe five times this summer. My younger brother and sister maybe a little more than that. Looking at it that way it's really not worth all the work, but I love being in the water so it's worth it to me I guess.

As long as your happy then the work is worth it! I haven't been in a pool in about 10 years, I miss swimming in a pool and would LOVE to have one in the future.

Do you guys (you or Lee) get water delivered or do you use a hose and then use chemicals to adjust the water?
