I'm gonna yak a bit about what's going on medically. Feel free to ignore, its just good for me to write it out. I think it, speak it, pray it, write it out - all positives that instruct my sub-conscious to push my body to build my immune system stronger than ever. 
Back home from today's blood test, just got the results and my blood count is good enough I don't need that white blood cell booster!
(That shot gave me that achy shaky's for several days about a month ago. 
) So I can keep working on fall chores early and construction.
My newest medical team is really top notch - esp the surgeon. He's prob about 40 and you can tell he's thinking pretty hard about this. Actually has experience with thymic malignancies. Him, the oncologist and the radiologist are also all professors at the University Hosp. After interviewing me separately on Thurs, they conferenced and the surgeon gave a quick summary Fri before I left (he's in charge of the whole show). He's still waiting for pics of the recent CT scans showing it shrunk by a third (plus I've had 2 more treatments since), so tomorrow or Wed I'll get their plan of attack. Surg in Portland is a definite in the near future. But they want to make sure this thymus shrinks enough before surgery that this time they can actually get the critter out before crackin' my chest open again. The LSM treatments are shrinking it but they're pretty content on a course of radiation to be double sure because its against all the vitals. That means 5 days/week x like 6 weeks. I told them that it's dang near impossible to live in Portland for that long so radiation will be done here in S OR before surgery. They also enrolled me in some kind of genetic research to see if there's any known markers that would help them devise an even more specific attack - like via drugs. Partly because my case is so rare and partly because being a research university that's part of their protocol.
Portland remains the cleanest city I've ever been in. OHSU is a trip. Largest single employer in Portland. I never saw such a big parking lot for just bicycles. lol The main hosp & university is up on a hill, but they built the expansion down the hill on the waterfront. These are big tall buildings, all downtown Portland.
So they built thi$ tram to connect the two. I thought to myself what an extravagant expen$e.
But then at 5pm when work is out, tram after tram came down loaded, people hopped on the trolley and headed to other mass transit connections. So maybe the tram makes some sense after all.

Anyway, I thanked these Doctors for inviting me to OHSU. They seemed surprised but I recognize not that many get referred up there from around the state. From my local doc's (except the idiot I was seeing for 2 yrs that had his head buried in his butt) to Medford to OHSU Portland, they are all sincerely trying to figure this out and fix me up.
I keep telling them they've got the wrong guy because other than my mountain man hair and beard (even eyelashes) falling out from the Pacific Yew tree & platinum LSM cocktail, I feel great. Better than the last 3 yrs because ever since they stabbed this thing with a needle biopsy in Feb, I've had no more attacks of chest pain/sternum pain/hard to breathe. My mind is right, my faith is strong, and for the most part my body feels great. Hell I'm not even needing the arthritis anti-inflammatory that I've been on for a few years. I was even hanging insulation in the 15' garage ceiling last week.

This morning started off pretty interesting. Slept in a little since I showered after taking care of the yard yesterday. Then figured I would stop and get some coffee on the way to the office, the two girls working up front were Ashley and Stephaine (my girls names) And now I am caught up on TMS!
