NMRA update. We've got a SN95 Mystic running, license plate is "GIDEE UP" haha. There's 2 pintos, and 2 II's also..
But anyways, on to the fun part! We had a camaro pro mod out there yesterday and today. You know, the infamous 1968 Ford Camaro/other jokes made at the expense of the owners. Anyways, he was the last car down the track today, and we were already an hour and a half late. Just decided it'd be a wonderful idea to fishtail the last 1200 feet, right down the middle, taking out every reflector and sensor for the timing, and then finally losing it just past the finish line, barrel rolled, slammed the right side wall upside down with the driver side fender, and broke part of the wall.
Needless to say, the chevy jokes have not stopped
(Driver is 100% fine, just a little dizzy from 150mph barrel rolls)

That and a fox spaying tranny fluid across the whole track, all the way down. Both lanes. And the shut down area. And drenched the starting line. We were displeased to say the least.
But enough bad, there's so many awesome stangs out there, and 9 or 10 Cobra Jets! Along with a '68ish CJ. VMP Tuning, Roush propane powered cars, SCT, and the Jet dragsters from Embry Riddle University and the Miller team/company/something.
Got me a nice, free, Mickey Thompson hat too!
I'd say go white on the bug guard (if you're keeping it, I think they look cleaner without), and black on the wheel well accents. Since there's black plastic running all down the sides and around the back bumper, it'd tie in nicely, as opposed to a chrome strip in a sea of black

Florida was great, weather was in the 80's all week and nice. We actually took a bump in MD Saturday coming home and both of us got two round trip tickets to anywhere Air Tran flies for free. Plus a stay in the local Westin. So now we are thinking CA in the fall and plan on going to the Hot Rod reunion in Bakersfield.
Looks really good White look great when its clean, very sharp.
For the bug deflector, look for a clear one and then order paint from paintscratch.com in an aerosol. Mask off the front and paint the back. It will blend right in like Sean said and look great. I did a few Explorers I had that way.

I would have been very upset. To me it sounds like he stayed in it and didnt let off the gas. That my friend is a very stupid mistake as you saw.
