For some reason this computer I'm on cuts off the first two character over every smiley. I have no idea why. I type them and when it posts, it deletes the first two character every time. I have no idea why.

I remember her laying on the floor in the garage and with my dad and my older brother kneeling over her as she lay dying looking at me with those puppy eyes. I was crying my eyes out. My dad looks up and says "This is what happens when you don't take care of your dog!"
I'll never forget it. I didn't do anything wrong. It was a completely unnecessary comment that tore me up inside.
Her name was Mindy. I named her after Mork and Mindy. A popular TV show at the time.

Must be why I don't have kids - but take in strays. I live on Noah's ark with a family of animals - wild and domestic. And I thank God everyday for it.
My 2 sisters don't have kids either. He was a good man overall. He and Mom did a great job providing a wholesome family life - that he never had - and I am very thankful for what they did. Just couldn't control his words and temper (never hit though). I grew up in a Cleaver type home - except Ward had a temper with lots of cussin'. Friggin' drill sergeant. And him being older I was taught all sorts of carpentry, mechanics, hunting, fishing, gardening, etc., and have a good brain to figure stuff out. But you know, he never played catch or anything simple/fun like that.
My Mom is a freakin SAINT!
Charlie & Snoopy... LOL

Trying to watch the second episode of "America:The Story of Us" on History and halfway through it starts coming a storm and my satellite reception goes out. Guess I'll have to catch it later in the week.

hey lee (and anyone else with satellite) how often does your reception go out? We're thinking pretty heavily about switching to directv, as time warner cable has some terrible service.

I have dish and it rarely goes out. If so just for a minute. But I've caught it on a few occasions while playing back something on the DVR. Sure love the DVR!
Snow has never messed with the dish signal (2 dishes, one for HD) but it does with the Hughes Satnet dish. Doesn't take much snow for it to be out of alignment. The other day the wind was really squirrelly and it lost contact for a bit.

I gather Arin's getting ready for something I seen a picture that he bought like 540 beers for some reason. That's some good mod money about to be pissed away.
