You may be right. I'm a little afraid of her myself.

Holy crapoly!

Glad out here they're "freeways"!

The proposal would affect several Baltimore-area roads. But the proposal has really riled residents on the Eastern Shore, where the state plans to jack up the Chesapeake Bay Bridge toll from $2.50 to $8 by summer 2013. That bridge is the state's only central route across the bay and links the D.C. and Baltimore regions to the popular summer hangout of Ocean City -- Maryland's more family-friendly version of the Jersey shore.
Under the Maryland proposal, rates at several facilities would rise on Oct. 1 and rise again in July 2013. For travelers on Interstate-95, the major thruway on the eastern seaboard, this means eventually paying $8 instead of $5 for the highway and $4 instead of $2 for the Baltimore tunnel by 2013.
For tourists on the way to North Carolina's Outer Banks, officials this year also tripled summer weekend rates on the Chesapeake Expressway to $6.

Another interesting tidbit:

The SHELBY BULB has been burning 110 YEARS today 6.18.11!

I used to live in Pleasanton and had a business in Livermore. Never knew anything about "the bulb".

World's Oldest Light Bulb Still Burning After 110 Years

Published June 18, 2011

It may not glow brightly, but it sure glows consistently.
A light bulb hanging in the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department has been burning steadily for exactly 110 years, according the Centennial Bulb website. Since the "Centennial Bulb" was first turned on, the stock market crashed and was reborn, the nuclear age began, two World Wars were fought, cars and planes were developed … and through it all the bulb kept burning.
How exactly it stays lit remains something of a mystery, Lynn Owens, who is in charge of the light bulb centennial committee, told Time magazine.
"Nobody knows how it's possible. It's a 60-watt bulb and it's only turned on for about four watts, but nobody knows why it keeps burning ... We've had scientists from all over the country look at this light bulb," Owens said.
On June 18, the bulb celebrates its 110th year of illumination -- a fact documented extensively by Guinness World Records. But even beyond its staggering powers of endurance, it's hardly an ordinary bulb.
According to the bulb's website (it's probably the only light bulb in the world to boast one) the "Shelby Bulb" was donated by Dennis Bernal to the Livermore Volunteer Fire Department , and is actually a somewhat different style bulb invented by Adolphe A. Chaillet and made by the Shelby Electric Company.
In the Shelby bulb, a coiled filament and funky design burn brighter and last longer than the Edison bulb -- as evidenced by Livermore "centennial" bulb.

Right. You know what pisses me off about that is the blatant lies. CFL's may be OK for some applications. But the law of physics says energy is not lost - only transformed or transferred, right?
Those incadescents put off necessary heat in my pump house to keep pipes from freezing. So what about my house??
In addition to great, instant light, the heat given off the bulbs is heat added to my living space, right? Whatever small BTU's are given off still add to the total warmth and require a little bit less energy from other heat sources. (speaking of fall, winter, spring)
If I only use cfl's, I'm going to use other forms of extra energy to heat my living space to the same amount I had when using inca bulbs. Assuming I don't break my legs on the coffee table while those crappy cfl's finally put off some light.
Liar algore is the scourge of the planet!

Typical "green" short sightedness if you ask me. Hybrids "whoo let's save some gas!" and pay no attention to the enviromental impact that harvesting the materials for the batteries, and then the batteries themselves after their useful time pose. Adding more ethanol to gas, beyond stupid to me. I've personally lit a beaker of ethanol, and lit a beaker of gasoline, one was extremely fun powerful, the other I had to put my eye next to the beaker to see the flame off it. And a very weak blue flame at that. It doesn't help the enviroment, and it's downright stupid they're going to keep pushing it in gasoline. Not to mention the whole taking more energy to create than it gives off when being burned/etc.

And on a happier note, I finally leveled my **** truck! Now I need new camber bushings with greater adjustability, I'm getting them tomorrow. Anyways, pix!

Gotta sort out my camber first though with the bushings. My tires look like this looking from the front of the truck \..... /

After that $40, I can spend the $80 or whatever cheapness it is for blocks
