I love maple grove. I lost in the finals there back in the early 90's when they ran the JR cars during the national events. It's just a really long drive from here. Do you ever go?

Just about every year! These pics are from last year

Just as I was buying a Mustang shirt, Tasca came out and was working the trailer. So he sold me the shirt and I haven't even worn it because I got him to sign it.

Force was next to me on his little scooter, but by the time I got the camera turned on all I could get was the back of him

Very nice Jill, Been there many times as a kid, but haven't been back in 15+ years. The more of theose pics you post the more your talking me into going.

Well I may have just done something that could bite me in the a**...

I have been wanting a Bullitt steering wheel for some time now and just can't justify the $400+ price on them. Well today I was looking on E-Bay and saw the Blue Oval Industries had them for $369 + $15 shipping, a pretty good deal IMHO. Then I checked their site and the price was $361.95 + free shipping. Well I couldn't stop myself and purchased it.

With some of the horrior stories I have read about BOI. I'm just praying now that it ships and get to me with no issues. I did use Paypal and I hope that offers me some protection over just using a CC on the site.

I thought it was great. I loved the kit car episode as well.

I did have one problem with it though. Cory Mac's bottom end mechanic was working under the car with no safety glasses. He even talked about how he's had stuff dropped on him, and his teeth knocked out, but no glasses. Genius this guy...

You are probably closer to Maple Grove then we are to Charlotte.

Lee or David, have either of you been to ZMax? I'm wondering about the parking lot there. Not sure if we should drive my Mustang down to save gas or take the 250. Where we park at Maple Grove is all grass and not flat so I don't take my car there. We see people getting stuck in the parking lot there too frequently.

I haven't, but I suspect that parking would be much improved over other tracks since it is brand new (compared the others), and state of the art. Not to mention that its adjacent to Lowe's/Charlotte Motor Speedway with all of that parking.

Try putting the address into Google earth and take a look around to see what you think.

Also, with the economy the shape its in, I've noticed the crowds have been significantly smaller, which should free up some room for better parking.

It looks like it would be ok. I was just hoping to hear from someone who's actually been there. Honestly though, I'd rather take the 250 because I don't like parking my car that close to other people and I know I'll be nervous about it being in the parking lot with a lot of car/people traffic. I can just see somebody walking in between cars and dragging their cooler down the side of my car

I wouldn't drive mine for sure. I'm the same way, hell I get nervous just parking mine for a minute to run into a convenience store. And on top of that, this new one draws as much attention as a 3 tittied woman having sex with a rattlesnake, so people are all over it ever time you stop.

Nothing special. Just don't drop one of the bolts down inside the door panel like I did. I had to remove the inside door panel to get it out.

You need to get a place of your own, or get that drive paved or graveled. There is no way in hell I'd drive either of mine up that.

Well, I'll have to convince him to take the truck. I get anxious like that too, Lee. I'm also not a fan of sitting in the passenger seat in it. I'll just keep reminding him that we will probably get stuck in stop and go traffic getting to the track and remind him how much he hates the push in the clutch, let out the clutch, push in the clutch, let out the clutch.
