Mustangs Coast to Coast
NTTAWWT
Not right off, but I'm not surprised to see it in this region. Like I mentioned before, its staggering how many rare and/or low mileage Mustangs end up coming out of hiding around here (like that last R in plastic with 25 miles). I personally know of 3 '89 SSCs that ended up in my area when they came out. A friend of mine had one of them (along with a slew of other Saleens) and countless other Mustangs.

+2 on the Escape, I love the first gens, we had 2 of them, a Yellow loaded XLT V6 and a Silver stripper 2.3 with a 5 speed. Great little trucks

I'm not convinced on snow and ice. The short wheel base and high center of gravity concerns me. I'd have to test drive one on snowy and icy road before I would feel confident with any of these mini 4x's.
In the past I've had 2 different FJ40 Land Cruisers and they were squirrelly on snow - on deep slushy type snows they were downright scary. I was surprised since they were 4x. But when I upgraded to a full length F150 I couldn't believe how much more secure the ride was because of the longer wheelbase. I can drive faster and safer than any of those squished up 4x's.

Now a Highlander....well those sux in the snow IMHO.
The issue with the FJ40's is not as much the short wheelbase as is the narrow track. Wider is better.....

Now just to convince my dad. lol We'd test drive it first of course and take it in to have it looked at. Just need to find the right one. Don't worry about the highlander. No way I'd let her drive around in a toyota.

It's not me. It's my sister. That's her "dream car".

My Trailblazer sucks in the snow. I got stuck coming up the driveway yesterday. Stopped and put it in 4WD and still couldn't get up it. I had to back all the way down and start over.
I want an Edge, but if I trade in for that, there will be no Mustang. Decisions, decisions...
